You can own more than one copy of a ship type. IIRC the original intention was to have 30 ship types, so we aren't missing two, we have eight extra

I have just come to Deciat to review my pre-engineered modules. Felicity Farseer had a Surprise for Me. I noticed that there are now 2 Class 8 FSD Modules to buy. Sign of a incoming Panther Clipper, Mini Carrier or Thargoid Hybrid ? Are they for Sale Anywhere Else ? I Wonder how much a Class 8A...

Actually class 8 FSDs are ingame, at least class C & D, just visit one of the engineers that do FSD engineering and go into the outfitting screen and the class 8 FSDs will show up. Of course you can't buy them as there's no ship to fit them in , so you're right about the second part.

Can't you purchase modules directly into module storage now? Or was I imagining that?

Hmm... yes, you're right. But honestly I never thought about buying one of the 8x FSDs that way...

It is for future heavy freighter we talking so much but it is still not annnounced. As well the 8A shields for the such large clipper is not a good protection, but 7tier is already too low to cover a hull.

Really a cut down version of what we have, fewer services and less support for squadrons, same jump range, cheaper to run and cheaper to jump since it's smaller it won't use as much Tritium per jump, the ideal exploration carrier.

If the "mini carrier" doesn't have Universal Cartographics and Vista Genomics I would never use it for long distance exploration. I'm just too used to being able to hand in my findings.

Especially not when I have already purchased a full sized carrier, with these services.
