xg9 lance fighter ammo bug

I can confirm it is still an issue.

Here is one of the few non-expired issues in the tracker that I have found:

Jupp. I just now tried it. Hopped in the thing myself in Oddyssey. 4 relaunches, every time 1 shot. I so wanted to train tactical commands with the NPC on this thing on some NPC pirates. :(
Looks like Frontier is seriously understaffed and overworked? Seems Odyssey launch was even more desastrous behind the curtain than it was in front of it. I am almost believing in nefarious things, given the latest Star Citizen ad campaign around the Odyssey launch, with accidentally launching a wrong version and whatnot.
 
Just logged in since i posted this and its STILL an issue.
If Fdev is able to make all new skins for guns and ships, they have the time and resource to fix this bug.

The workaround worked for me: dock, store the hangar, re-fit it - done, no issues since then.
 
There is an easy workaround. Swap seats with the slf pilot. Go to menu 4. You'll notice that the weapon module is unpowered. Check the box and it will come back online. Swap back to the ship pilot seat.

Worked for me any time I received the "I'm afraid I can't do that" response when they were unable to fire using the plasma or gauss guardian slf.

Not sure why that gets unchecked in the first place.

Once it is checked on - it seems to remain on. Weird.

Thanks, I´ll try that next time it happens. Seems like a weird bit swap that can happen for some weird reason. Like something changes default from 1 to 0.

It is in regard to thargoids at least. Haven't checked if its the same issue of the 1 ammo and no reload, but they don't shoot aliens.

Ammo is fixed, but now the AI doesn't shoot thargoids for some reason. They'll happily shoot other humans. Fully armed SLF, just is SOME DISGUSTINTNGNGNG XENO LOVING TRAITOR ASJDFLASKDJFALSKDJF
Anywho, yeah, fix one bug and another pops up.
