Well they don't give you a lot of time to poke around before chasing you off. My scanning ship isn't my thargoid fighting ship and I'd not last long. Still, got a good look at the new Major Anomaly.

I was attacked by a scout goid when I was about 3km off the ground flying towards a distress signal on planet 3. When the power went, the 1.55gs pulled me down, almost died due to the impact. Sat and watched as it scanned the distress signal, then it turned around just as my power came back on line and it shot me once, destroying the ship.

Be careful out there in HIP 22460, whatever you're doing Cmdr.

Pretty sure the 'game changing' bit is the Guardian Weapons being melted in HIP 22460 and the Thargoids apparently being able to corrupt Guardian Tech into Tharguardian Tech now as well as the implications from all that.

...and here I was hoping it was the Guardians themselves suddenly returned, striking at everyone. Hitting the Thargoids as a "we told you to behave!" statement... and hitting us as a "stop using our stuff!" statement. LOL

The thargoids hitting us back with the same though, I kinda feel thats a bit anti-climatic... but at the same time, sends us all a message that says, "You're screwed now!"
