I've actually jumped on them a couple of times on foot to see if I could make it back down without dying...its a shame there's no altimeter in the suit HUD...

Those translators don't always get it right, they can make people look foolish.
This is one of the largest Ammonia Worlds I've found yet, it used 7 engineered probes to map.

I have a question for you veterans, do you need some sort of a cannon to fire off hull repair limpets? The reason I ask is every time I used them to make hull repairs, my multi cannon would deploy right before I used them, and I want to dump all my weapons to increase my jump range.
A couple of things...
It sounds like they (limpet controller and Canon) are in the same fire group...
And you have a setting called something like deploy on fire set to ON in the ship controls options...
Yes that's correct, so the limpet controller comes with its own way of deploying. Interesting, it is definitely using a hard point because I can see the doors opening and a cannon popping up right in front of my cockpit on my Annie.
Did you try it with shield activated? Once I'm finished doing what I:m doing, I might try it
I wonder if there's a codex entry or EDSM badge for planetary circumnavigation on foot from orbit?
So... Karma AR-50 - stability or higher accuracy? I'm going for stealth mode on this so I'll be applying noise suppressor and audio masking (and either stowed reloading or stability) so wondering which is best... any opinions?

Well if you want to be stealthy then the fewer shots you fire the less chance of being detected, so whichever mod gets you closer to one shot one kill should be good.Did you try it with shield activated? Once I'm finished doing what I:m doing, I might try it

Limpets fire out through cargo hatch IIRC.

Duh, silly me, limpets are a "combat mode" thing. When you fire them, they deploy hardpoints...
Or, rather, they require hard points be deployed to be able to fire them...

If I had a jet pack and shield...
But this is a game, its not real, it just feels that way...
