Disagree that is a weird programming decision at stage because NPC mutlicrew .. if they are to have roles and skill levels to give bonuses .. would end up taking multicrew seats (otherwiuse used by players) .. and multicrew also nests the player commander (avatar) insdie the ship (so 'your character' is no longer the ship), as it was). I feel, as with any of these features, mutli-crew is a slow burn. Of course it's a headliner when it's new but it also sits in the game now as a feature that some people won't, some people will, and others will pick up put down again when the feature suits the game they want to play at any given time. I'm really glad to see it as a feature, even though it doesn't fit with my game at the moment. Partly because it's fun (I have tried it) and partly because it's a very powerful piece of code architecture. I don't think we'll ever see again such a massive core code update, even when apparentloy massive assets are added. Deep blue stuff, I think it's great.

Have you tried flying an SLF into the top of the building (didn't I see someone say there was a hole in the top)?

Thank you for the clarification. I've passed this on to assist in the investigation. Also thanks for the Netlog.

@Nene Because I merged the Pc and Xb1 reported threads and it can only be on one at a time. Also, we've been unable to reproduce this issue on our end. Any additional information about this would be much appreciated.

It would be a nice gesture, but imho that's a band-aid on a larger problem. That does nothing to help those without said tools be an active part in the entire mystery chain. They would be still be second-class researchers, feeding on the crumbs that fall from the table of commanders with access to third party tools. I get the teamwork argument, though, I really do. It's great to encourage people to get together and use their individual skills and deduction ability to figure this out. However, that's not what we have at the moment imho. We're not talking about skills and deduction, but access to tools.

I do really enjoy it when I take part in multi-crew activity, but I agree FD really need to expand upon it for it to be viable long-term. It's disappointing that the only real roles so far are limited to shooting things, and even that is limited to just CZs and HasRez sites. It needs way more variety. ED is all about variety in activity. David B has even said before he's surprised that people tend to fall into doing the same activity over and over again. Well.... multi-crew is pretty much the same activity over and over and over and over and over. :) Shooting NPCs is *fun* mind you, but there needs to be more flesh on those bones.

I worry about this as well. Players shouldn't have to resort to using all these third party tools just to play the game, but it appears that FD have embraced that reality. Heck, I'm a mod and have been here since Kickstarter and even I have to experience most of the alien mystery stuff through Obsidian Ant's videos and the forum. It's all rather removed from the actual in-game experience. The point about players on other platforms being even more at a disadvantage here is very appropriate, too. Kudos to the Canonn and all who figure this stuff out, though. I don't have the time or patience or tools for it. :)

I've highlighted a section that I have to disagree with. Now that both Sony and M$ have both produced a console which is a PC software houses that would never of considered it before are now able to expand their sales base and they are doing so. Also bear in mind that you cannot create a game on a console, the PC will always be at the heart of games production so why not sell it on that platform. For instance, notice how R* are only taking about RDR2 on the PS4 and Xbox1 - PC gamer's again thought R* had left them high and dry... RDR2 for the Pro, 1X and PC will follow within a year. ;)

Exploring isn't exactly the greatest paying profession out there, but you can get quite a pleasant surprise when you cash in your cartographic data, especially if you've been out in the black for a week or two. If you are hell-bent on the idea of digging rocks where no man has dug before, I'd suggest that you move your slider all the way up to "full" when plotting your course. You don't want to find you've made a jump to a part of space which you can no longer traverse back from, because of the extra weight of rocks in your hold.

I presume you mean Beagles point as opposed to Beatle point which sounds like a new tourist destination over the river in Liverpool. Yes 20 K is no real distance until you take into account most of it has been done with Eco jumps but I used it only as an example of how the POI's drop off rapidly once you leave the bubble. :)

Did you perhaps participate in "The Dead" mission from Ram Tah a while ago? We've been rolling out the reimbursements for this today, and I've just this moment dropped a message in the Bug Report thread here. The fact that there wasn't an inbox message - if this is where the credits came from - is a slight concern, but we're chasing this up on our end now.

Hi everyone, We just wanted to make sure to follow up on this and let you know that we're now resolving this issue and reimbursing Commanders who did not receive the reward. For all those affected, the reimbursement should now be active and you should have also received an inbox message in the game from the Bank of Zaonce regarding this transaction. No action is required on your part; however if there are any issues our Support Team will be happy to assist with any questions that you may have. Thank you for your patience on this.

Seems the web cam I secretly fitted in your bathroom did pay off in the end! I know it's been looked into in the past but for this to include Sony I think some of the major franchise holders need to get involved - If Activision. Blizzard, 2k and Bethesda all got on Sony's case I think the situation would change rapidly.

You noticed. I blame TJ for me being grumpy because... well it's TJ's fault regardless. As for the signing out, I don't recall using the 'Cheers CMDR's' however CMDR Napoleon does. I assume most people just zone out once I start with the drivel and never get the end of any of my posts... You still reading this? If you are let me know and I'll continue! :D

**Furious scrubbing sound*** Yes it was better quality, Sony wouldn't release the licence for other manufacturers to build Betamax machines... the rest is history so to speak..... Oh and Could Pass the Vim...? ***Scrub Scrub Scruuuubbbbs in the background***
