Your problem seems to be your inability to understand the difference between a tiny minority of crazed extremists using a warped interpretation of a religion to justify criminal acts and the vast majority of followers of the actual religion, who utterly condemn them. The fact that you're suggesting people who are capable of making that distinction are somehow apologists for terrorists sadly just shows you up for the twisted bigot that you are. Seriously, they love people like you because your reaction is exactly the simplistic knee-jerk that they are depending on.

You can pick up cargo but it won't fit through a docking collar? Injured combatants are envisioned as being moved to safety in another ship when they bleed out in 5 seconds? CIG want in-air refueling??? They envision moving items inside ships via EVA?

It is entirely possible though. You can have thousands of players in one gaming instance. You can have thousands of events going on at the same time in those instances. Genuine Roberts just has to invent faster-than-light-fibre, sign all his customers up to his special service, and let them all play the game! The fibre still won't reach the rack though :(

:D I see absolutely absolutely all of CIG's "netcode" as soon as it attempts to enter, traverse, or exit my boundary router. What special "netcode" delights do you think they have packed away for a rainy day? Are they really going to completely change their network architecture and implementation on a whim? Oh wait, there is still Item 2.0 to come.

It doesn't quite work like that. You have midpoint "overtakes" that are located between your main points of useage concentration. They absolutely would not be in the US, Europe, or Australia. All the overtakes do is pass high priority events to all servers, and it's left up to the servers themselves to decide wether a new incoming event from a client or overtake takes priority. They then wait for client answer, server answer, and if the high priority event doesn't make sense for both then the overtake shuts up and waits for the next opportunity to try and speed things up. Mind you - with CIG's Netcode(tm) in the state it is - I don't have much faith in their ability to deliver a tiered priority solution.

I'm not in NY, but if your ISP is Comcast - they've just left a big stinky on the carpet.

To be fair though - what they say they want to do is entirely possible. Banks do it all the time. You won't get be able to do much with each connected client though, and X number of clients will only see fake Y clients for security and performance purposes, but for a glorious 15 seconds, CIG could actually have up to 128000 players in the same place at the same time :D

If you cant explain your rationale as to why one cause is just and the other isn't then perhaps you would be better of not saying it at all. The IRA were no strangers to blowing up and injuring kids either so I personally fail to get quite how their campaign of terror was understandable.

The avatar was actually a joke I was having with a mate on here a few weeks back. As for telling people how to think, act and what to say, I'm not doing any of those things. However if people decide to use that freedom to think nonsense, act like imbeciles and say a load of old crap, you can bet your life I'll be here to point it out. This classic 'community leaders' stuff. Tell me, do you have a community leader where you live? I can't say mine has ever identified himself to me. Most muslims I know crack up at this 'community leader' stuff, like they have little local councils to control everybody who lives within three streets or something. We all have a responsibility to report anybody who we think could be up to terrorist activity and the fact is it does happen from within the 'muslim communities'; in fact the police and MI5 were at pains to point out when they arrested Khalid Ali last month that the intelligence they received that first put him under surveilance came from 'the community'...

The minute you start talking about 'their' community the people who will be celebrating this attack have already won. The people who perpetrate attacks like this are not representative of any community. Here's what 'their community' have had to say about him today: “Abu Ismail (the lad's dad) will be terribly distraught. He was always very confrontational with jihadi ideology, and this Isis thing isn’t even jihad, it’s criminality. The family will be devastated.” “What was he doing, murdering all those people. There must have been somebody influencing him. It’s terrible. He was off his head.” So yeah, obviously 'their' community is whooping it up in celebration.

Dont forget Anders Brevik who killed 77 people and injured 300 odd. No religion or race has a monopoly on hate and the moment we start targeting one section of society then we do the terrorists work for them.

I have a 13yo niece who's father is a muslim pakistani fellow. Tell me what suggestions do you have for reeducating her into a not being a person who wants to blow themselves up?

He seems to be but as someone who lives 7 miles outside Manchester city centre in a council ward with a population which is 75% ethnic Bangladeshi and Pakistani I can assure you that the vast majority of them have no more time for this kind of crap than you or I do. The people who perpetrate these attacks are cranks and not in any way representative of the decent majority.
