Frontier says - there is an alien ruin in the game. 48 hours later it's found. Don't underestimate people. If someone posts a screenshot of his base with a patch of sky in the shot, I can bet there will be someone crazy enough to to triangulate their position just to ruin their day. :D

The bubble is overpopulated, anyway. What are you complaining about? We're doing the galaxy a favour.

Devs said that "It would be a really fun feature to have." That means they acknowledge it as an idea. Though I'm afraid that in that thick book in DB's office labeled "Cool ideas to think about" this one is somewhere around page 78.

If you like exploration, there are lots of "dark" nebulae that block the ambient light from the Milky way, so the only light source in a system is its star. At such places the dark side of the moon is REALLY dark.

Yeah, sorry. A small mistake. You get 5% from each, so 150k from two traders making 1.5M each. Then it's 100-200k per hop in pirate bounties if you're lucky. It is possible to reach 2M/h on a good short trade route (I've done it) And yes, of course, if you just jumped into a third trading ship, you would be making more, but my point was - if there is a wing, and one person likes shooting and others don't, they have stuff to do and the chance to be useful to one another. Life isn't just about Credits per hour. People who fall into this trap usually end really soon. I've got over 3000 hours in the game and I've managed to not get bored by doing what's fun to me at the moment (that varies over time) and never focused on the money. For a month I was a scavenger/smuggler in a stealth Cobra. I was making 60-200kCr per hour but actually had the most exciting adventures. That's what counts in Elite. At least for me.

Sorry if I misunderstood something. Well, 5% is and isn't attractive depending on the situation. If you escort two friends in Cutters or T9s, they will make 1.5-2MCr per hop. Let's say combined it will be at least 3MCr. That's 300k per hop for you, plus bounties from all the pirates that try to interdict them. All in all, you are looking at about 2MCr/hour (sometimes much more) for doing basically nothing. Is it the most efficient way to make money? No. But you are collaborating with friends. RES farming together might be more action packed, but not all people enjoy it all that much.

There's something deeply satisfying about that "SPLAT" sound upon impact, isn't it? :) Plus one-shotting those pesky Eagle and Adder pirates. Yum.

No. "Module Reinforcement Package" - Just like HRP but protects modules (up to, I think 60% damage reduction) instead of adding "hitponts" to the hull. You can't delete messages yourself. If you really want, you can use "Report this post" button at the bottom left of the post and ask moderator to remove it. Although in this case I think it's no need. Nobody minds.

One thing that I would do just from the quick glance of it is to equip C-rated SCB and use the saved power for A-rated thrusters. Or, especially for PvE, ditch the SCB entirely and put a module RP in there. Bi-weaves reboot fast enough and you can hull-tank in the meantime or take a short break from fighting. One way or another, if you can afford them, A-rated thrusters make a world of difference. As for dodging itself, it's no that difficult. If you're not flying in straight lines and use your lateral and vertical thrusters all the time, there's little chance they will hit you, unless you try to face-hug them.

Long time ago. 2.3, but I suspect even earlier. You need a fast ship and even faster limpets, nowadays. :D

PAs are specifically designed to circumvent and take down enemy defenses. It's like asking if there is an armour against an armour-piercing bullets. :D You have to learn to dodge. ;)

Not that I use DC often but current arrangement seems most logical. The engaging procedure may seem a little clumsy, but I think that more important thing is that you are able to take control back from DC just by slamming brakes or throttling up, instead of looking for a button/key, or shouting on VA.

Yeah, I tend to explore on my on as well. But it's definitely an awesome feature for expeditions.

Since when do we not share trading benefits? Of course we do. Escort gets 5% net profit per ship in the wing. (If you're escorting three traders/smugglers/ miners you get 15% of their net profit. And as for bounties, wing shares are 50:50 You can literally do everything in the wing and profit from it. EXCEPT missions. So to nitpick the one and only thing you can't do to show the mechanic is faulty is kinda cheap.

Yep, I thought so. I was just thinking "There is no chance he would NOT notice a big red bar saying "Optimal mass reduced"" Don't use unsupported mods, peeps. :D :P
