During the games first beta, ring used to vary in depth. Some of them were so deep it was possible to get lost in them.

Ron Howard is a safe pair of hands. His only major fumbles have been with the Dan Brown movies. He's of an age to understand the appeal of the original Star Wars movie. It'd be great if managed to rope Tom Hanks in for a guest appearance.

Comparing the OP's video with Star Citizen is actually more fair than comparing it with Elite. Both are just tech demos at the moment. With Elite I am actually going to jump into the game at the moment to enjoy myself. It is good to see that games are going to look great in the future, and I'm also hoping that the competition will get Frontier working a little harder as well <grin> The end of June is rapidly approaching, so update 3.0 of Star Citizen will drop within a week. You must be very excited.

I don't think Trump supporters have the intelligence to understand spoken words. The whole too-close-to-business thing was just an excuse to make some sort of talking noise whilst pointing at and berating Hilary Clinton. Here's Hillary Clinton boo!! Hillary bad! boo!! <some sort of vague accusation unintelligible to the orangeneck faithful> boo!!

I had an answer from them a while back The colouring is based on mineral constituent of the planets and moons and likely composition. The composition of the bodies is modelled as accurately as they can. So, they are looking into how to debeigify the planets without breaking science rules they have put into the game. Unfortunately isn't just a case of add to the palette.

Its not really Ron Howards forte though is it. His best films have been historical dramas (apart from Splash, Cocoon, Willow & Backdraft), and none of those are 'StarWars' in the end. He's got a mountain to climb at this point, and if he messes it up it could damage his reputation no end (at the very least with fans). Personally I would have left it well alone myself.

No ... It will be another game based on the space genre that will be sufficiently different from the rest. SC is different to ED, ED is different to NMS and so on, they can all peacefully co-exist. BGE2 will be gloriously different so it wont be a competitor. True the 'tech' of ED, or rather the Cobra engine doesn't compare to CryEngine or this custom based engine, but then the system requirements for CryEngine are massive and Ubisoft have a lot more money to throw around than Frontier do. But then I forget you are not allowed to like all things these days, it has to be one or the other.

It will affect everyone, "it's just not important" and having you think about cutting your hedge, when your cost of living could explode to the level where you drop from "middle class" to "the poor" in your lifetime is a nice way of screwing you over. *) "Don't think twice, it's all right". "you're either in or you're not, no messing about" is May rhetoric. That woman is a complete fail as a politician (as well as your press a disgrace *2) ), since instead of explaining in plain terms what her "hard brexit" means, she waffles on buzzword bingo words. Maybot. Oops sorry cut out some of your quote! but the essence is there am replying to :) Yep its not that important(and you haven't seen that hedge! ;) I get ya, i get the ramifications if it all goes wrong but what else would you like me to do, leaflet campaign? send a strongly worded e/mail to my local MP? we had elections/referendums and i go along with the results, thats democracy for ya, you might not like the outcome, you might not like our...

I see Trump more as a JCB.. He smashes municipal buildings open and then scoops the money out for himself. His followers yelling "Great! we don't have to pay their upkeep anymore."And other followers yelling "I don't care what happens as long as I get to keep my gunz!!" before shouting "Yeehah!" and firing their six shooters into the air.

Spot on, the part you say "For many its just not important" again not wanting to parrot on but as a remain voter am one of those who says lets just get on with it, my wife(remain to and an accountant) goes further and says hard Brexit "your either in or your not, no messing about") People at work that voted either way, i cant remember last time anyone really talked about Brexit, i think sometimes we narrow our view to threads like this and think the concentration of hard political views here are the norm, when in reality most people are going about their daily business, and not interested/motivated politically till an election/referendum or something directly effects their lifes. Perhaps it will be folly with Brexit in the coming months/years and all of you who warned us can go "we told you so" hey ho, you won, but you get nothing for it. My main worry this morning with day off work is whether to go to gym first or cut those damn hedges before it rains, then later go for a few sherry's down the...

I'm just backing up what goemon says. If you are mining in a Python then you will need shields. The best way to start mining is to drop in to an RES with an empty hold. You may get the occasional scan while you are making your way to a more secluded spot, but nobody is going to attack you when you've got nothing in your hold. The fun happens when you go in to supercruise to peddle your wares to stations. Keep an eye on the text comms in the top left of your screen, for pirates showing an interest in your cargo. This may be familiar territory to you if you've gone trading. Do the usual thing of keeping the baddies off your six, keep a nearby system targetted for a high wake, keep all pips to shields.
