Ok, scanned through the video from yesterday and can't find the planetary entry/exit. Can someone give me a timestamp for that happening?

I'm back because some pre-Gamescom bug hunts involved starting and stopping the game a lot of times, and I reckoned Gamescom might have shaken the conversation out of its usual stale circle.

Refined, yep you're probably right. I have some exquisite focus crystals but must admit I do't recall getting them. I will carefully hang on to them since I now know they are so rare. Hopefully we will see some improvement in this with 2.4. I understand that there's been some changes with faction missions. I hope this will mean a greater number so we have increased chance of these rewards. I'm currently on the hunt for modular terminals.

Oh hi Ben, welcome back. I presume your sudden chatty mood timing has absolutely nothing to do with SC Gamescom promotion or any PR reasons. Either way now that you are back and in such a helpful stance I am sure you would also care to elaborate on the discussion about VR that seemed to have such an abrupt stop some time ago. Any update on VR progress you would care to venture?

Hey -Kiku- I think I've picked up a few of these just blowing up pirates who made the mistake of trying to ruin my day. Either that or I came across some whilst dropping into USS's. Sorry I can't be more certain, and I must also state that I may be completely wrong about the above. They are rare but I do remember finding some out in the deep black and not as mission rewards. Best of luck with your hunt. o7

The graphicsconfiguationoverride.xml is found at C:\Users\*username*\AppData\Local\Frontier Developments\Elite Dangerous\Options\graphics Delete it yourself, start EDP and when EDP says it's missing and should it create it, let it and see if that works? I'll need to see the error messages, can you send them to me at kaii@dr.com and I'll take a look. We'll sort this out dw

More than likely will balance itself out, in time I think. Most people who played earlier games would say Elite's a long burn game .. in time, everyone will work that out for themselves?

Well, by "mirrors" I meant "using RTT to do actual mirrors", which everyone always assumes would be really simple and is in fact horrible.

I jumped into the game for an hour tonight and flew around with some unnecessary cargo for you but - wouldn't you know it, no interdictions.!!There's never a pirate around when you need one is there .... I'm interested to see how it goes though, I'll be trying it again tomorrow as I also wonder if you might be able to get a combat edge - as a trader - when Monsignor Pirate has his cargo hatch open .. he'll have restricted speed and no boost?? Rescoop you're own cargo after?? Mwuhahaha.

I've no doubt Frontier will want MC networking to work as well as possible and will have optimisations to try for 2.4.

No resource extraction sites outside bubble. It's LAWLESS space which means no consequences for shooting any innocent NPC miner and taking his cargo but no bounty on pirates either, unless you KWS scan them first. You will usually see a wing of pirates, attracted by your wake drop when you first arrive. If you've no cargo 99% sure they won't attack you (not interested in limpets). After a fly past they will high wake and you won't see any more but they do sometimes fly back before they wake out, so be aware if you started mining. Risk of engaging them of course, is you'll get no form of security help no matter what and if your canopy busts it's a brown trouser RTB in a hurry. I always mine on the bubble edge, not TOO far from a market I suggest, a couple of jumps is OK but much more than that and it can get a little tedious returning home and going back out after a while. Interestingly .. one system I mined at had a population of zero when I first arrived, not classified as having any type of...

It's just a spot in the PU with some spawn points, I think. Smoke has been moved onto the 3.0 schedule, mirrors are still a performance concern.

But if they had of said in Q3 2015 there would be 2 more franchises in the portfolio to secure the future of the company and by extension the future of Elite, you would have taken that as a trade off wouldn't you? I personally don't get the antsyness (good use of a word I've not heard in a long time by the way) anyone who thought that Frontier would only make Elite from release onwards was crazy. Certainly the communication around some of the delays haven't been great and it's certainly never been Frontier's strong point, but it is still a million times better than it was in Q3 2014! I think we've been told enough over the last few months that we would get an announcement later in the year and then when the expo was announced told it would all be then. I'm prepared to let Frontier have that one, because they've done really well with PC over the last year and JWE is going to be just as big at least and from where they were 3 years ago to now, is astonishing :) So let them save up all the goodies and...

Title:- Armageddon and the Wobbly Unrelated The sleet reminded me of a puppy that day - what a day for Armageddon. I panicked, my fear reflected in the eyes of Dear and Grandpa. But then we saw it - a wobbly Unrelated. Dear smiled. Sticky spikes, magical mouths and brown hooks - the Unrelated seemed like the answer to our prayers. Grandpa looked at the help and cooked briskly. Dear, jumping agreeably, conveyed similar sentiments.

My way of thinking for so long. It took a final straw to force me to do it, but if I had known what a difference it would make I would have done it a long time ago. I've also made a good collection of installers and stuff this time around so I can repeat with even less hassle. DO IT!

"Can I fit that in there?" is just one of the fundamental instinctive questions humans have. It's on the same level as "will it blend?"

I can see a lot of what you are saying and in some cases it will be difference of opinion with no full data to back it up. This statement for example - for some reason I find this statement implausible. I'm no expert but I feel like if I went back through the history books I'd find plenty of example of trading relationships between nations that were somewhat parasitical rather than symbiotic, if you want to put it that way. Probably corruption would be a factory here in the weaker country, but I find it difficult to believe this type of stuff didn't go on in the past.

Oh sorry, misread that. Yeah, four megametres would be a pretty big playspace, but my guess is it's a typo. While it's probably fine, I'm going to err on the side of caution and not answer in case it's a breach of confidentiality.

It's quick and nimble, probably a very good choice in the bubble. Though I struggle with Vipers as being in the BRC has tainted me in so far as I can't approach a station at "normal" speed, and the Viper really isn't very good for lithobraking, which is what I predominently rely on :p

I agree with this article - this was my thoughts as well when I saw this at the top of the news agenda last Sunday. I would only add that the BBC should also be ashamed for being taken for a ride so often in this manner. I'm not saying they should not cover the report at all - just that they should mention that the full report has not been published yet for unexplained reasons, and that the author has a track record of having his reports heavily criticised and rejected by most other economists. Now that doesn't mean that this buy might be the economic equivalent of Einstein and all the others just haven't realised his genius yet, but I've not seen much evidence of it so far. TBH we should more be looking to get these kind of reports from economists from other countries outside the EU who are less likely to heavily biased in the Brexit debate and therefore subject to massive confirmation bias issues (and that possibly goes for both sides). Edit: It's a shame because I've always been impressed by...
