^^This. This event was actually quite a brave thing to stage. There was a real significant risk that all four of them would die immediately and or had it too easy, and the level of complaints would have been even higher. As Drew said before the event, not everyone will be happy. Some of the complaining is justified - lessons learned, problems in the game etc. Some of it is second guessing and not really justified. The PAC probably had a reasonable strategy, otherwise Salomé wouldn't have survived as long as she did. Unfortunately they had hired Malcolm Tucker as their Discord PR person ;) , but in the end their strategy wasn't that bad. Salomé having HP on her friends list (and many others) was probably the only way to handle it otherwise it would have been too easy for them to just go off to random systems with nobody having a clue what was going on. SDC played their role perfectly - not scripted but completely consistent with their past actions.

Meanwhile, SDC didn't notice that I invaded their Colonia base 2 weeks ago. Planted my flag here and have made a killing on black box missions. No sign of any guards. Now, what to do with this portrait of the SDC leaders that I found here in the commander's office :)

It writes to 3 files for graphics: Custom.fxcfg DisplaySettings.xml Settings.xml If you get stuck, let me know via email and we can troubleshoot together: If you solve it, let me know what it was.

The message was already in game because that was how the plot was organised. It was always a possibility that it would be found by a random explorer before Salome's trip. They were going to find something that was already there. If it had just appeared by magic, people would have called that cheating and "you said the mystery was solvable all along" Drew confirmed this all yesterday. The person who discovered it before Salome is part of the story and actually that makes it even more interesting - who were they, what happened to them and why didn't they reveal it?

Salomé's message was not delivered due to the outcome of the event. Players changed the story once again. Cheers, Drew.

Best ship if you unarmed though ... cheap rebuy, good at intercept and fast escape.

you can find most information in the updated first post of this thread: - and if not, just ask there. winning margin for civil war is 3%, and for war is 5%. conflict goes pending when influence is matched, when none of the faction has a blocking conflict state (pending, active or recovering) and if they would change "position" (the lower one overtake the upper one in influence, or the upper one dropping below the other). experience is that in 95% of all cases the reason for a conflict not triggering is a conflict (war/civil war/ election - pending/active/recovering) of one of the two factions in another system

bit of a wasting of a large cannon - you can have that effect only on MCs and frags.

So i am guessing 2.4: Shootable aliens where the community will whine endlessly that they are hard so it will get nerfed to the ground and be boring as the rest of the game. Oh and also will be an other combat focused update. The Galactic Conspiracy is this ladies and gents, Push gimmicks, earn monies, don't give a crap about anything else.

downsize the powerplant. you can run that build with a 2A. don't forget switching off all unnecessary moduls you won't use at once. a grade afmu. turreted mining laser makes no sense, as DBE isn't multicrew capable. fixed will do. 2D powerdistributor does work, if engineered ENG focussed. the rest is up to you whether you want a bit more safety needs for returning to the bubble (not necessary, but you never know what the next patch will bring - i have a lightweight pointdefence on my dbe).

Yes - there was a previous post quite a few pages back from someone who was actually in Salome's wing saying A) HP was not in her wing he was part of the outer defence run be PAC. B) Salome had been damaged by previous interdictions and had module damage that was preventing / delaying hi wake. C) HP may have lucked out a bit with instances where Salome's other wing members got kicked. That's the way it goes I guess. All good stuff for the book.

in that case: overcharged cannons are the way to go. still I'd suggest 1 corrosive MC. 20% more damage for all other weapons is just too nice :)

Actually I'm not a labour voter as such. In my life so far I've voted for 3 parties that I remember (Labour, Tory, Lib Dems). I've tended to vote for who I thought was best at the time based on what I knew / thought at that moment. In the past, I wasn't really against the Conservatives as such - at least not until they conspired to destroy the country with their incompetence in recent years. However, I'd still like to think I keep an open mind and would look at the policies, and whether I actually believe they will implement those policies. The problem I have with Teresa May is that I don't believe a single word she says, and I'm kind of scratching my head when people who I know and respect as clever and reasonable people say that they trust her. Edit - I know someone will jump on "conspired to destroy the country" so read it as "damage the country"

I think there were two separate groups - COR (Children of Raxxla) was the core group but they are not good at PVP normally. Then there was this group PAC who seemed to want to control the second layer of defence - they were the ones who allowed certain other players to be part of their white list, thereby allowing said players through to the last line of defence. Now from a technical game point of view, I guess it was Salome's choice to have this guy on her friend list (assuming that is correct). However, if none of the opponents had been able to locate Salome anywhere all these threads would be about how boring things were and how those wanting to kill Salome had no chance. What will be interesting to see is how the ending is written up - Salome was not killed by someone who was acting out of loyalty to the Empire, but by someone acting on a "personal" motive -

Information is still coming out and still a bit sketchy. However we do know that the Code also interdicted Salome and her hull was definitely way down by the time she was betrayed. Rumours is that the eventual kill was done at a time the other wing mates had some kind of glitch - but not fully confirmed. The only video I've seen of the actual kill so far conveniently left out all the previous moments.

only that the devs were so kindly to answer last summer, as the convoy to jaques had that very question:
