Cutter, will pay for itself quicker adn the jump range is far better. Failing that I suggest that you go for the one that will be easiest for you to unlock first, based on your current ranks and reputation

You're mistaken. I try to think objectively. I wasn't griefed in a loooong time - I know how to avoid being griefed. I also know how to escape - so I'm rarely getting killed these days. I still think that players who play in anti-social manner should have the opportunities to be anti-social reduced greatly. It's all about the consequences. Why would Pilots' Federation allow one of their members to dock at their home station right after that someone killed another member of the organisation for no reason? Why would a Federal security forces not continuously chase a guy who keeps murdering innocent people in their systems? Why an insurance company would be willing to repay a ship rebuy cost for a mass murderer? Murder is one of the most serious crimes in Elite and those who commit it should face the appropriate consequences. They should be isolated from civilised parts of space, but they should be allowed to roam free in Anarchy systems, maybe Dictatorships as well, I don't know. But murderers...

OK, so killing traders in CG is not necessarily as bad as some other lowly forms of releasing your tension (near-station ramming, ganging up on harmless Sideys etc.). But still, like you said, that's a very low PVP style. I personally play mostly in Open and I accept the consequences of that. But because there are no serious consequences for the murderers can you really blame those of the traders that want to avoid consequences for themselves? I don't blame them for CL - if they are killed over and over again by the "PVP" (quotes intentional) players while they laugh in their faces... Really, I can understand. It's not to say this is right - CL is a cheat, no question about that. But I can certainly see WHY people do it. Fully agree. But C&P has to be really punishing. 20 million Credits more for a rebuy means nothing if you have billions in your account. Trend catching means nothing if they will take months to set in stone. Pilots Federation bounty mens nothing if all it means is being wanted in...

I think going forward Horizons will be the last season to ever be released, I doubt that we will ever see a season 3 and that all future content will be purchased. for example being able to purchase a planetary landing module and being able to purchase access to engineers for those who don't own horizons. while those who own horizons will purchase a atmosphere module so they can get access to planets with an atmosphere. only guessing.

A Valid question since frontier have changed how the game development will proceed. the only info frontier has given is in the below quote from Zac in another thread. Frontier have already released a road map for 2018 and your current LEP obviously includes what's coming in 2018. Looking into what zak says it sounds like that those who only purchased Horizons will have to purchase premium content, im guessing that squadron mobile bases will be among the first premium content and access to thargoid space being another possible area where players will have to purchase access, I wouldn't be surprised if they add purchases for cmdr save slots. im guessing that premium content wont go down the route of pay to win as that would kill the games userbase. the worrying thing is that Zac only mentions the Beyond series updates which we know is basically the 2018 road map, what happens after that is anyone's guess.

I don't think that's the case, besides the lower your opponent's rank compared to yours, the less progress you get for a kill. And vice versa. So it doesn't make any sense to shoot Harmless pilots in Sidey's.

Agreed. What about mindless ganking? Isn't that a game-wide problem too? (Albeit not a cheat per-se, more of an abuse). ::EDIT:: Just to clarify. I mean situations like wing of 4 experienced players in engineered Vettes/FDL's/whatever killing new players in Sidewinders in starter systems or the same wing of experienced players jumping and killing a defenceless (relatively) transporter ship in a trade CG (aka not pirating, just plain killing for no reason).

Eksperymentalne moduły, służące do walki z Thargoidami, można nabyć na kilku typach baz planetarnych. Na pewno Military... reszty niestety nie pamiętam.

Well, now we're not talking about Multicrew, but the whole new NPC ship crew game mechanics. I'd be all up for it! But we're talking about Multi Crew in this thread and I was writing my posts in the context of that particular feature.

Oh, I'm all for imagination mate. I'm of the "you need imagination to play Elite" people and I use it a lot, believe me. Role playing is a big thing for me and at this current stage you need a lot of make believe to role play in Elite :) I just don't see why waste dev time on NPC pilots if all they do would be sitting in the co-pilot's chair next to you doing noting and looking pretty. I certainly see the immersion aspect of it, but I just don't think that it's what Elite needs at this stage. There are more pressing things to improve on in my opinion. It would not improve Multi Crew at all, but instead it'd be just another incomplete feature that people would moan about, in addition to all the other ones, including MC.

I agree! But - now we're talking about proper ship crew mechanics, not Multi Crew with NPC's instead of players though. These are 2 different things - with some overlapping aspects.

What for? All a crew member can do is launch a fighter or take control of the turrets. Both are already available for AI. NPC can fly a fighter and turret's just operate on their own. There'd be nothing to do for NPC crew. Although it'd be nice to have your fighter pilot sat next to you rather than in the fighter bay (I always feel sorry for the guy/gal lol)

I never use it with random players. I rarely use it with my friends even. Mostly when someone comes across something interesting and the other guy can't fly his ship over there. It's a tourist seat feature for me. It really does need more work to become something actually useful and fun IMHO. Saying that I don't think it's as bad as some are depicting it here when it comes to bugs and disconnections. It works pretty flawless most of the time.

If you ever get stuck in a planet you can switch to non horizons and it iwll ask you if you want to start in orbit.

There's a weird thing at work here, no matter how many times I throw money at Donate/Bribe, my Superpower rep never reaches "allied", I swear it stretches to make it seem so close but so far each time. Is this a bug?

How is this supposed to work? For MC to work you STILL need a main pilot
