    This is a really interesing point. Though I can see why you might want engineered scanners on a fighter, it's good for explorers (and miners) too, so would think either the blueprint needs to be available at Farseer too, or only, or different types of upgrade blueprints across engineer bases, depending on what it's likely wanted for. An explorer's scanner could eat power or have really low integrity and so on ... Python into a CZ though Cmdr?? An armed trader, mining vessel, handy in a USS but CZ .. just no? The canopy is really exposed and the rebuy, high. Suggest Imperial Eagle, on sorties into CZ's and you'll have way more fun; one single trade delivery mission in Python, funds about ten Eagle rebuys.

    Isn't the trick to it to get out of gun range (4km) and wait for the Feds to arrive? They do arrive in a high security system (don't in an Anarchy) but does take them some time to get to you. Would it not be really weird if wherever and whenever you got interdicted, there's ALWAYS a bunch of security ships, sitting there waiting, just to save your sorry backside? Improvements to C&P (ppl suggest a lot) could really wreck ED's dangerousness if not handled with care imo, even a single solar system is a big place? (+ I swear sometimes, it's not a world of men).

    Sympathies to the OP though I can't help thinking, your stream stays more hardcore and more interesting, if you stay in the wild wild west of open play? Yes rebuys happen but an NPC can do that to you too and I'd be more interested to watch a streamer who, if you like deliberately put themselves in harm's way. If you're flying an Eagle you've got every justification to be wary of hollow square blips on radar, so cat and mouse evasion is something to talk about (or hairy fly-by's, to show your viewers a griefer's paintjob before getting the heck out of there, a game of chicken) sounds to me more entertaining than a PvE stream. Riskier, but there's the rub. Good luck anyway whatever you decide.

    I liked it when flying with fligh assis off was a true measure of skillful flying. I was rubbish at it but used it on my T9. I enjoed havning to find black markets rather than just looking them up. I liek the dagressive and acutally dangerosus NPC hunter killers that tested both comabt and flying. I i liked the slow credi progression becasue gaining something like a paython was a real big deal, PLayer wirten articles ion Galne made the gaem more alives rather than the meaingless feed about ecnomc booms etc in systems that no one cares about and empty CGs that boild down to go grind over here for x thsi week. DOnt worry it wil be a win and teh narriative wil be pointless or predetermiend. Im goig to bed. Im clearly jaded

    Scramble spectrum doesn't do anything to shields. Indeed the effect reduces ROF so they actually do less damage than the same weapon with no special. Even against bare hull, the effect doesn't scale that well; the malfunction just starts momentarily sooner.

А топливо и инжекты это вот, прямо перед глазами. "Возьмешь этот элемент и этот и получишь 25% к прыгу". Ну как по-другому это понять? :) Или не понять. И там вполне понятен результат действия, если проморгаешь и опустошишь бак. То есть совсем разные вещи- запас топлива и процесс инженеринга с неопределенными результатами. Jebe Noyon Не вопрос, только после 29-го. Есть одно место. Возьмем курс на Колонию.

    I have similar misgivings about how mandatory Engineering has become, but I do not see the scenario in this thread as related. Sit ~4km inside of a hard mass-lock get surprised by multiple PvP fit ships and you are in major trouble, regardless of the version of the game. Something to test, for sure.

    I'm not really worried about collisions in my FDL...it's extremely rare for a decent pilot to let another ship contact his/hers in a vessel with that sort of all-axis acceleration. The only ships nimble enough to ram an FDL that doesn't want to be rammed, even if the FDL is trying to stay close enough to leverage frags, are ships that will suffer more than the FDL.

    In general, engineering has increased defensive capabilities more than offensive ones. Pre-2.1, the exact same ships in the same scenario would have destroyed the OP's vessel in less time. Nine times in ten, I could give a 'raw n00b' one of my heavily engineered combat vessels and then proceed to shoot them down with an unmodified example of the same ship.

    quick question know anything about business related articles or changes they are making?
    check it, i was sitting here doing my grind on the game making money.
    and i realized something it's basically impossible for me to be making these kind of profits from all these different catagories of consumer products.
    i mean you cant be making 150% profit on weapons AND biowaste at the same time in real life it takes years to know the ins and outs of a certain business and how to maximize profits and efficiancy.
    i mean i understand being able to ship all the different categories but i think it's strange that i can make really good profits off anything. i'm thinking a more specialized model is in order....

    Hmmm, well they are both 'artists impressions' so it seems perfectly understandable to me. If you overlap the 2 they are actually a lot closer to each other than they appear at first glance. Though it does appear as though the outer arm stops short on the ED map
