Well whatever it is I truly hope its going to be something to encourage me to play the game again after around 6 months away. Not seen any reason this year to play much so far. But I suspect it will be much ado about nothing as usual. The main problem with this game is and always has been its multiplayer and yet there is not one multiplayer feature that I have been remotely interested in and it has mainly been to the complete detriment to all of the gameplay that made Frontier fun - ie single player exploration, special missions and a sense of progression for the player.
My true wish for 2.4 is that they scrap multiplayer and introduce something interesting for the normal non-hardcore everyday solo players.
But in this multiplayer environment everything has to be so hidden away to stop it being found six million times by all the constant online hardcore players that there is nothing worth playing for for the rest of us.
