This morning, Donald Tusk reiterated that the EU wanted a strong future relationship with the UK. Everything's fine guys. Stop the catastrophic and apocalyptic predictions ;)

In France, the laws do not tell women how they have to dress. The laws tell people how not to dress wiht the objectif to preserve the spirit of the laic republic and social peace. If there are people who do not like living in a laic country, they have the freedom to leave, nobody in france will retain them. Why not go live in Afghanistan or in other islamic countries. They will be free to wear the burqua from morning to evening and from evening to morning

Yes and the principle of denunciation of abuse could also be used. In France a law has just been passed allowing the state to give money to a person who denounces another person for tax evasion. The paid information could also be used in the case of husband who sequester their wives

Nothing to be concerned about - this is all part of normal development. You'd be a fool to consider otherwise, and paint your non-gaming credentials for all the internet to see! Genuine Roberts hasn't invented begging yet.

I would venture it's because SC isn't a game yet - still in pre-pre-pre-Alpha. But then of course, I just don't understand game development.

You just don't understand perfection! If you understood just a little about waiting and seeing, you will get the inside joke about assets being rendered in-engine in real-time back in 2012. You should have bought more Idrises.

"It will be very very bad for you" is designed to knock confidence of young people. However, knocking 10-20% off your deficit is free money (not bad for you) and comes with the benefit of accountable government, able to make policy without concern for upsetting French farming unions etc..

Noone would have believed in the earlyish years of the twentyfirst century that this world was being watched keenly and closely by intelligences greater than man's and yet as mortal as his own, that as men busied themselves about their various community goals they were scrutinised and studied, perhaps almost as narrowly as a man with a Vision might scrutinise the transient creatures that swarm and multiply in a plethora of Space Games. With infinite complacency Space Gamers went to and fro over this little globe about their little affairs, serene in their assurance of their empire over their wallets. It is possible that the infusoria being told what to do in guilds do the same. Noone gave a thought to the older Space Games as sources of human danger, or thought of them only to dismiss the idea of cheese wedges being fun to fly as impossible or improbable. It is curious to recall some of the mental habits of those departed days. At most Space Game men fancied there might be other men in Space Games,...

Only if it continues to try to destabilise the UK with talk of 'how terrible for you' because, fair's fair. Actually against European law to destabilise an extisting member state I believe but Europe and EU are two very different things .. EU is a jumped up and over glorified trade organisation. Europe is awesome, and far too good for the EU, which doesn't deserve your money.

To benefit from a reduced trade deficit? Around 1 pico second given automated trading algorithms? A political collapse of Europe would be a bigger problem (not the EU though, that needs to be reformed)

Someone needs to tell the environmental enthusiasts that CIG are poisoning children with exhaust fumes, murdering trees and slathering baby seals in oil in order to fulfill the packaging requirements of this wondrous new merchandise. Besides - there's no Space Kitty tshirt - so I have no part in this :D

You don't make a loss if you impose tariffs on a trade deficit.

No doubt smart people but just remember people always have their agenda (and yes, their own high salary does also count as one). It's not Germany's fault the UK can't afford it, it's the EU's. Though I would point out Mrs Merkel, great respect to, but East German (Iron Curtain) heritage. Opinion of the West, may have some bearing? Not sure but 'open the external borders' was a bit .. weird.

Subsidise individual exporter's tariffs; If you're running a deficit, you ALWAYS win that exchange (think about it)

Only peanuts if your Health services aren't hitting the wall? You can only borrow to consume for so long, sorry. A £60bn untaxed annual trade deficit aint peanuts either and what happened anyway, to UK's nationalised infrastrctures .. gas, electric, rail, telecoms, free university places, the gold reserve .. how could UK ever fund those, President Juncker's new suits AND Lithuania?
