    100% agree with this too. Implementing something and then allowing Cmdrs to jump 1 system away and negate the whole thing, is pointless. Removal of docking privileges can't come soon enough :p

    Exactly, surely the Karma system will be much more apt for that. That's why I personally find it bizarre it doesn't extend to all murder.

    The ambient announcements inside of Obsidian Orbital seem to be more echoey that other announcers. I'm not sure if this is because they run at a standard level and need a tweak for the new announcer there, or if it is related to the overall changes.

    I'm not aware anyone has said never. This is a Beta and so I make my suggestions, as far as I'm concerned you can't have a meaningful C&P system without it incorporating all aspects. And if it's going to be a good and meaningful system, why not apply it from the start. Do people really think it's a good idea to allow have the 2 treated so differently? I can't see how that can ever make a path on the wrong side of the law a fulfilling career if it's all aimed at solely player against player interactions. Also what would happen if you had killed one player and hundreds of NPCs, you'd still be having to pay the price of the ship you used to kill the player in.

    No the idea is to begin to implement a meaningful Crime and Punishment system. If you can rack up millions in bounties against NPC pilots and then save yourself some credits when you want to get rid of it by changing into a Sidewinder to be killed, I don't believe that makes the game any better in any way. Unless I'm mistaken no "legit" illegal activities (whatever they are) involve killing clean NPCs, any that do involve that you should pay the penalty for. If the vision is to build a proper C&P system then the work needs to be done right, from the start. My above answers your point, and as for the Edit, that's partially been taken care of apparently :p

    I referred a while back to May having been the month of the Diamondback Explorer; it appears that July was the month of the Beluga... The first Beluga Liner to complete the challenge was piloted by veteran core-runner Cmdr Crotalus in Unlimited class, continuing to shore up his position as holder of the most ship type records. Using engineered frame shift drives, but no FSD injection or neutron star supercharging, Crotalus' ship Cetus completed the trip in just over ten hours. The other Unlimited class entry this time round was an assault on the top spot from veteran Fuel Rat and winner of the BRC's Lavecon Buckyball Race, Cmdr AlexBrentnall. Piloting the Anaconda Flagship of Eir along a carefully plotted neutron superhighway route, with this challenge as just the first stage of a record-breaking journey to Beagle Point, Alex Brentnall made extremly good time. Unfortunately it wasn't quite as fast as Alot's record run, and picked up a penalty for incorrect arrival evidence, to give a final record...

    Selecting things from the Galaxy Map is back to it's former glory now :) The Galaxy Map in general has had a nice going over, much smoother and clearly marked. How can you nerf a map? If you mean not being able to select marked systems from a distance, that is fixed. As for moving around the map using a controller as opposed to a mouse and keyboard or HOTAS, I think that's been there since day one :)

    I don't do PvP and I don't want to see that either. I'm hoping this is laying the foundations for a Crime and Punishment system that is viable from both sides. And not just about PvP or combat either, the C&P system to extend to all criminal activites, harsher penalties for increase rewards.

    Nothing to stop you doing that now, and as I've pointed out more than once, getting the second rebuy when you haven't changed to a cheaper ship has been reported as a bug.

    The extra rebuy cost is only supposed to be applied if you swap to a cheaper ship (is the interpretation). At the moment the extra rebuy is applied regardless of the ship you die in.

    The last round of migrations finished before the PS4 version was released, or certainly just as you joined us. Not PC only though, as Xbox Cmdrs could contribute. And they will be doing more in the future I'm sure, but there were a few too many and Colonia needs to stabilise for a bit before they do any more I think.

    Unless they swapped to a Sidewinder and then took the free Sidewinder. Have you put a bug report in then?

    I am personally not a fan of all of the repair limpets and synthesis that is now available. I especially don't like the idea of being able to synthesise extra time for Life Support. On top of all of the changes that have been made since launch, the addition of Hull repair limpets + Synth, Heat sink synth and Life support synth, means short of ramming into a planet at full speed it's almost impossible to die through misadventure while exploring. There have been a lot of comments about the Heat Sinks making combat unbalanced again, would a solution not be to add a timer to any synthesis if you are in a danger situation (i.e When you have the cooldown before you can log out)? That way if you're in combat, taking heat damage, or some other mishap you wouldn't be able to instantly synth something to save your life.

    It's a CG based competition that's been running in stages since the beginning of the year. Each month a number of groups who placed the highest in the CGs were given a place in Colonia. The current migration period is over. Though depending on how things go in the bubble, there may be a mass one coming up soon :p You're not supposed to have all the stuff on one ship.
