Thanks Saool! Great feedback. There's actually very little that can be done with reddit CSS as far as I'm aware so a lot has to do with presenting info and making it easy to find. I'd ve very keen to see a screenshot of what you see as Im aware that variosu browsers displaying things differently. Noyt sure what you mean by whit interaction elements. Remember Im not techie ad a lot of what you are saying is shop talk jargon to the likes of me. We put the buttons under the banner so that people can find the key topics activities immediately without having to use search or hunt through threads. Reddit works like a forum. As a new thread is posted it pushed the previous one down. It is also limited to only two fixed thread at the top of the page. So kind of went with the one click to get info rule rather than index pages or leaving people to search / brosw through outdated info. Alternative ideas would be great!

Thank you, that's great. :) That's also great (because my runs were all in the old Buckyball Run A*) :D - - - Updated - - - Perhaps your existing record is safer than you think? And you could make an unlimited neutron-assisted run instead?

Using the same criteria as the existing required deliveries, the other ship classes would require the following minimum deliveries: Beluga Liner - 48t Cobra Mk IV - 16t Dolphin - 16t Federal Assault Ship - 32t Federal Corvette - 48t Federal Gunship - 48t Imperial Cutter - 48t Imperial Eagle - 8t

the interesting question would be here: how many bounty redeems ... and how many superpower bounty redeems in a system with how many superpower alligned factions. let us assume your high influence missions would, as high influence missions, add 5 points into the influence bucket - that's 30 action points in total in total. let us assume, each superpower bounty redeem adds 2 points into the influence bucket, you have 5 superpower bounty redeems (50 k each), and 4 superpower aligned minor factions in system - that's 40 "action points" in total. total influence bucket size would 170 points, and your faction at 40% influence having run 6 high influence missions would have gained 40 + 30 /170 = 41,1%

this is correct. i'm just asking whether the faction got into boom or was in boom before today. as you can see in the first post of this thread there is a state hierachy. boom, lockdown, civil unrest are on the same level - they can't break each other, but they block each other. so if they were in boom, civil unrest or lockdown can't go active, till boom ends. if they got boom pending t the same tick, with civil unrest and lockdown, as all these states have a countdown of 1, the boom was going from pending to active (as its bucket was filled most, probably).

did tthey have a boom pending additionally to lockdown and civil unrest, which go active or any other state?

Hi Chaps Sorry to be a bother Has recently been refreshed and we would be very grateful for constructive feedback on the site in comparison to other ED player group reddit sites. We aim to keep the information there directly useful to players on a daily basis covering core activities such as wars, bounty hunting, trading, Guides, BGS and player generated lore etc.

yep. but mission boards are erratic as ever, and they can get eaten up by other factions state easily. i suggest looking at military economy ports, most of them on surfaces, there is really a good chance for them.

if you target a specific thing to be coleected, limpet expires after catching it. if you don't target anything, limpet will collect anything in range without expiring for its lifespan.

depends quite a bit what kind of trucker life you live. do you do mission trading or bulktrading? if you do mission trading, the t7 will not provide you more income, as you loose access to medium pad missions, which are very often the well paying ones. might work if you are playing in the center of the bubble, but i doubt it. in that way t6 -> AspE/Dropship -> python would be the way to go. mission trading income of a trading python is hard to beat, even if you ride a t9... but if you like to do bulktrading, state depending trading is whee the money is at... medicines to outbreak systems, matching economies in boom, etc. in that case, it is all about tonnage, and you'll have no problem finding routes with 3000-4500 cr/t profit a-b-a (my personal record is 6100 cr/t profit a-b-a) for a t7/t9/cutter.

you can use this older and incomplete, but still helpfull list of mine, and the galaxy map/system map for system/market states (and sources of goods). i make around 15-20% more profit doing in that way, than using 3rd party tools. but you have to factor in scouting of the route.

the current BHing CG should give us a good idea of superpower bounty effects after the patch, as there are 3-4 federal factions in system, and federal superpower bounties count for the CG.

we will have a chance to watch whether legal weapons trade really adds to civil unrest: at least after the intial boom, during this CG which includes personal weapons and battle weapons, we should see the state going pending. also we should be able see some effects of superpower bounties from the new BHing CG in Cartoq (as eddb is on strike, and i don't have the system data, there may be or not several federal factions in system).

wouldn't it make more sense to change that general rule to FSD class, as those determines the max. amount of fuel used per jump? my general rule is: in the bubble: one class smaller fuelscoop than the FSD size is, if the ship has such a slot. so, for exampel class 4 on my python (class 5 fsd). same class for longdistance travels in the bubble. so for exampel class 4 fuelscoop on my dolphin (class 4 slot)... or a class 5 on my pthon if i take it somewhere. and biggest fuelscoop for explorers.

nope, but already more than halfway there ... as i have the tendency to fire up elite with my computer, and that means it is running till i turn it off for the night... even if i'm away from home, working, cooking, etc. which makes your question even more complicated - 10 000 hours active playing time? there is no way to measure that easily. 10 000 hours are around 60 weeks .... or 1 year, 8 weeks, depending on what the stats panel would show. i'm postive there are people with that amount of hours in stats. i for exampel know a deep space explorer, who never logs off during his travels, if not software requires so. he goes fuelscooping in the morning before going to work, to make up for the fuelusage during the night.

non. engineered the total laden range of a cutter is enough for any common trade routes. 6A woud be my choice for your above scnario, as 5A is just a tiny bit to small to run endlessly in bubble distances. for overheating: turn off any moduls you don't need - powerdistributor, cargo hatch, --- power usage adds to resting heat. having d-class thrusters on my trading cutter also helps with that.
