No ire. If the rule applies to super powers it something similar should apply to independents too. Otherwise it is skewing results in one direction. based on nothing more than random traffic. My concern is about the players experience. EDIT - The super powers have plenty of tangible BGS effects. Do missions for them and get the most powerful ships in the game is the first that comes to mind.

Hello Adam. The majority of player faction are independent. Skewing stuff to the super powers is rail roading the game play and also does not make sense. It's not good for the player communities in general especially those who have set -up independent groups and factions because they have no interest in the super powers and want to create their own narrative. The weight towards super powers is basically turning a sandbox in to a one way street with a super power at the destination for any one interested in being independent and defeats the spirit of free from free play. Well that just my observation from what Ive gathered so far. Thank you for your time. o7 Please roll this bias back. Your virtual pal Ben

I liked it when flying with fligh assis off was a true measure of skillful flying. I was rubbish at it but used it on my T9. I enjoed havning to find black markets rather than just looking them up. I liek the dagressive and acutally dangerosus NPC hunter killers that tested both comabt and flying. I i liked the slow credi progression becasue gaining something like a paython was a real big deal, PLayer wirten articles ion Galne made the gaem more alives rather than the meaingless feed about ecnomc booms etc in systems that no one cares about and empty CGs that boild down to go grind over here for x thsi week. DOnt worry it wil be a win and teh narriative wil be pointless or predetermiend. Im goig to bed. Im clearly jaded

Ben Ryder replied to a thread Meta Discussion Stealth ship - thoughts & recommendations in Ships of Elite
The main thing I would like to see for stealth ships is a switch to turn off external lights and engage an internal dim red emergency light. What good is slent running etc if you are lit up like a easter tree

Screenshot of missions result. You can see that the pirate faction that was the target of the destroy pirate mission has gained influence. It should lose influence.

Just because he's the president doesn't mean he suddenly loses his own personality and his own self interest and agenda or do what is 'right' for the citizens. Take a look at real life. No need for Caps. I was using Hudson as an example, Could just have easily used any other of the power play personalities.

I gethweer you are coming from but it'snot nonsense. Just for example; it miht be easy to take over a system that is feudal for a power but keeping contrl of it might be hard work. Snatch a hot coal out of the fire aint so hard but holding on to it is tough kinda thing. "First thing you can see is that Zachar Hudson has great issues with the Federation itself: a well played Hudson BGS bubble will be a not Federal one. Moreover, many powers have issues with factions during expansion, but are favoured by them for control... another flaw." This is not a flaw. This is Hudson and how he gains personal influence and power for his own ends. He is not the Federation. HE is not the embodiement of teh fedearion. He's a playa just like the rest. Power play is primarily about the characters not the superpowers. The super powers are just a soap box for the character to stand on to gain personal influence. If you get past stuff like Hudson = Federation you'll see what I mean. Hudson is dong stuff for Hudson....
