    a war will block lockdown, minimum duration 4 ticks/days after it went active (not sure when that was) you can always transfer moduls and ships to another station, even when the station where the module or ship are is in lockdown.

    Just a suggestion here. If you are going to big up SC here (and you are absoloutely within your rights to!), then if you say something like "SC is damn good fun", then a screenshot isn't going to cut it. Either post of vid of what you did, or at least explain what you did that was so much fun. Sure, you'll need to be prepared for negative feedback... but at least you would have something better to stand on than just a screenshot. We've all seen screenshots and videos... we don't see much in the way of gameplay. That's.... erm... inch wide, inch deep at the moment, at least from my perspective. But hey, whatever you find fun right? I love exploring in ED, and there are those who can't see the attraction. I have lots of fun exploring, they say "jump, honk, jump, honk". To each their own... but at least give a little detail. Otherwise you just sound like a marketing drone. What did you do to get so much fun?

    На Fisher's Rest еще смешнее. Кто не в курсе - это мегашип с возможностью посадки, что обретается в Альдебаране. Судя по всему, быть диспетчером в совершенно пустой системе (тип корабля определяется как flight controller) - крайне нервная и опасная работа. Иначе чем еще объяснить, что их калоотстойники просто ломятся от дерьма? Оное предлагается на вывоз в несколько соседних систем, прежде всего в Fujin (это там, где чаек для Бро покупают). Цены довольно смешные, но миссий много (ибо одна-единственная фракция, к сожалению, независимая). Когда поправят выдачу очень редких материалов - может быть неплохим вариантом для их фарма.

    For those who are pining for newtonian physics in space, erm... how exactly would you think that would work in ED? Its a multiplayer game. You can't speed up and slow down time. They they allowed a single person stardreamer kind of effect, well, that would also not be proper newtonian physics, it would be kind of cheating to make it work, as time is a factor in any sort of calculation like that. Add onto that, a vast majority would need autopilots to get around. I'm not sure how many people are remembering Frontier through rose tinted glasses, but if you tried flying between planets manually it was damn hit and miss, and one mistake could cost you massive amounts of time. Now, imagine that unleashed on the general population.... ugh.

    i own both. FDL is a beauty, and surely excells at bountyhunting, but also every other way of combat. it's the largest ship which still is a small fighter ;-) FGS is my preferred fighter carrier. if you like to pilot larger ships (like python and conda), get both.

    I'm pretty sure that the effect you are experiencing is not down to the buffed influence effect of bounties, but an effect of multiplying positive actions per superpower aligned minor faction. as the number of actions goes up, the effect of each action goes down ... to back that up, here quoted a carefully worded support answer: "lots of positive influence effects" and "actions for other factions" are the important words here imho, as the system mentioned has 4 superpower aligned minor factions. each single superpower bounty redeem would count as 4 actions, creating 4 "positive influence effects" - at least that is what i believe is the case. so reducing the influence effect of bounties wouldn't be a solution to the underlying problem.

    Дата-пойнты там бывают как публичные, так и приватные (см. в описании цели слева внизу или непосредственно на отметке цели (будет надпись "data point (private)"), также огонек на палке красный, а не зеленый). Данные падают с обоих типов. Приватный дата-пойнт иногда спавнится внутри здания (точнее говоря, на нем спавнится здание другого поселения). При его скане вешают маленькую баунти, скиммеры краснеют и атакуют машинку. Настоятельно рекомендуется сканировать его последним.

    reducing the influence effect of bounties would be no solution to the multiplication of actions via superpower bountie redeems, which leads to diminuishing effects for any other action in system, and is a large part of the current frustration of many player groups. i'm with schlack here, basically, the superpower bounty effect as we probably see it currently requires a lot of cmdrs and random traffic. i still remember the original implementation of powerplay, when only after beta the effect of that many crimes in systems were visible (and FDEV later on changed powerplay action to non-crime in BGS terms).

    well, i also can't really have a good suggestion... as said before, i think there are 3 problems with the implementation. - multiplication of actions (superpower bounty redeem) by number of factions leading to diminuishing effects (if that is the case, which i belive). I have no idea, how FDEV fixed the 1-t trading exploit, but i assume that they somehow collect several small transactions per cmdr per instance or something, counting several actions as one action. maybe they have introduced a gate, like only trade actions of 10 t counting... i don't think that could be a solution for superpower bounty redeems, as those are redeemed by different commanders, though. if the BGS algorythm can work with fractions of actions, that would be another way (in a 3 superpower alligned minor faction system with 60%, 30%, 10% give them a 0,6 action, 0,3 action, and a 0,1 positive influence action)... but i assume, that both things aren't possible with the current way influence is calculated, so i simply would suggest to...

    AFAIK nothing has changed. Gravity breaking still works just fine. I frequently do it, especially when i'm going to dock and got a pirate on my tail. Head towards the planet at full speed, cut throttle when at about 0:05/0:04 and aim for as close to the planet boundary as possible. FSD overloads, reduces your speed, you overshoot, but not far due to the slowing effect. Do a 180 and station is usually no more than a couple of LS ahead of you while the pirate is still a long way off and not in line to interdict you.

    So, Ben's response..... They still need more money They must still do concept sales because otherwise they can't pay the "contract artists" who make the ships? :O Artists? Not modellers, artists.... jpgs anyone? "the largest has to do with, per my understanding, credit" - ummm, credit? Aren't these guys meant to be swimming in money? They say they must continue with concept sales..... how about just stopping concept sales and paying the people (external contractors? Not internal staff? :O) out of the money they have.
