But, the fidelity!!! We absolutely must have it - or our Orgs are powerless and pretty much meaningless - and we've put so much cash into the Vision it simply must be good when it's polished enough to be given to us, after we have proven worthy enough to deserve it! Perfection takes time, and you cannot contain genius in a timeframe. Genuine Roberts is our only hope at saving PC gaming. Buy a jpeg!

Good. If you can defend and counter all the weapons they have, then it makes the whole thing rather pointless. They should be a challenge if you want to try and fight them. I don't think we'll be getting a way of following their wakes anytime soon, or probably, anytime.

Well it's hard as they're 218Mb each :p However this is a crop of one and if you zoom right in you'll notice how the metal fixings don't lose any quality, but the writing's already blurred. I can't see anything behind the writing though, maybe it's cause the lighting's different but I don't think so. Click the picture to get a fullscreen version.

I doubt you'll get them to be honest, the writing is deliberately blurred. I take my screenshots at 6k resolution and you still can't read what they say. I only managed to make out water and coffee beans when I first posted that picture, didn't notice toilet roll, but I'm glad they had some at least :D

Insert Genuine Roberts waving hands gif here :D Of course I know. I gave them a few hundred bucks for a game years ago - and I'm still waiting for it, and my space ship shaped USB drive :D

And how many completed, playable, released games do they have?

A last defiant line of defence, in a battle against overwhelming odds, where the invaders are halted by a virus... I know where my money is :D

Not enough! They'll need yet another legal entity to "sell, manage and promote" the rights that the "rights" company is claiming and yanking footage with. There will probably be a couple more further down the line :D

Even in 2.x it was a 60+ gigabyte of RAM gobbling error :D It kept loading assets again, and again, and again, and eventually when it got the "ok, launch now!" message from the server - it dumped pretty much all it had cached, apart from the bits you probably needed, and so had to call them from disk once more :( I need to find that screenshot again.

They will have experienced a baptism of fire, gained some experience, get some solid references and be ready to expand into whichever development arena* they choose to have fun in next :D *except mainframe. Just to explain - that's not a dig at those developers. Mainframeland has obvious no-goes, and everyone involved knows exactly what they are :D

Neither of these is a real deal maker or breaker for me....I could see a lot more mileage over time if the did the planets first....seeing how they are working on the Jurassic Park title first...it would seem they are working on the ability to create land based items first. The real problem with planets is trying to be procedural AND non-repetitive....looking at NMS...they have done a fair job of fighting this issue...and they add more parts and pieces over time to keep creating diversity....BUT....humans have a great capacity to see patterns...so this is the most problematic issue. Add to this the desire for various biomes across a planet...and the game having to track them...and you can see the complexity starts to bloom with billions of planets... legs means they would have to expand how we interact with the game world and do 'things'. These are two large ticket items that will be problematic to introduce...and constantly improve over time...best to have the basics solid and bug free before...

And it simply never loses it's appeal :D I've just watched the latest ATV - I cannot understand their troubleshooting methodology. So many broken bits and game breaking bugs, but they insist on introducing entire new subsystems, dumping years of work, refactoring the much vaunted Item 2.0, abandoning their own "lore" and just giving themselves yet more headaches. Who is actually managing all this?

Well, people use what they have, I guess. But I wouldn't want a Holoship for paintjobs. There are bigger fish still to fry.

Well, I see the main color of that scheme is still orange. I don't see the point of getting a worse default :) but we each have our own tastes.

Looks to me like you don't trust the sheer skill and talent of the digital artist who painted that stuff right out of his brilliant imagination

Nasty piece of work to get yourself into, I'd say. Imagine doing the same in a Corvette. Ugh! I shudder at the mere thought! On a more serious note now. I love my Asp. I bought the game back in 2014 and took long breaks from it. Now I have money for a Python or an iClipper, but not both yet. And not in a really big hurry. Yeah, I like getting money, and I ground trading until sparks jumped out in the beginning, but I did other stuff besides. I did rares trade, exploration, driving mindlessly, shooting drones, scanning data, mining, just drifting about in rings, piracy, combat, CGs, sucking at combat in a haz res in a fresh Vulture I could barely afford, jumping back in an Asp, T7, whatever was better for the task at hand and I could afford. I'd say do in a Cutter what you did in a Clipper. What the heck did you do in a Clipper? Grind for more credits? And bought a bigger ship to grind for even more credits? Heck. There's game beyond that. If you can't find something to do in a Cutter, maybe start back...

Hi Titas. If you had gone for 1v1 I'd have been bricking it, was testing out a new setup that didn't really work. Anyhow, I'm in TEST, though not as active due to family commitments as I'd like. Pretty certain shooting at the Alliance spokesperson would be grounds for a disciplinary!
