A bug where you were only supposed to stack 3 missions, but you can stack more by what OP said.

I really really really hope it's just a bug...

Please no! It ruined Skyrim Nexus for me and Elite is an online game, no no no no! On topic - more bob variety would be definitely welcomed!

Apologies, I did not mean to be offensive or insulting. I may have mis-interpreted your post. Sorry about that.

Game is made for fun - agreed. And while you're also correct about immersion being a feeling or sensation, the game can certainly be more immersive or less immersive. Example: in Skyrim the first mod I've always installed was the one that requires player to eat, drink and sleep - otherwise my stats would go down. This made the game more immersive for me. Without that the game was not as immersive. It was not fun FOR ME. So, in the context of that aspect of the game, it was 100% realistic and immersive, and yet - what may come a surprise to you - it was STILL A GAME an it was STILL FUN. To me. So, just because YOU think something is or isn't fun, doesn't mean it's the case for someone else. As soon as you - and others like you - accept that fact, we'll see a lot less salt and insults on the forums.

Depends. Sometimes more realism = more fun :) But then again "fun" is extremely subjective, so I don't think you can discuss it objectively. Most of the cases you just need to agree to disagree, in other words: respect other people's opinion. That is what's sometimes lacking on these boards, unfortunately.

Puts a few bugs, and a week's wait for a point update, into some perspective don't it.. Spent a day around the Gallipoli Peninsula in Turkey some years back, pretty intense place and though I'm a Pom and the OP obviously an Aussie .. wouldn't want to be without you Digger. (No really!) :D o7

The big deal is that "immersion" is a very subjective thing and means different things to different people. What one person perceives as "immersive" is just a pointless feature for someone else. You can't really discuss immersion objectively IMHO. People get ticked off, because in THEIR subjective opinions, the game isn't immersive enough or is loaded with pointless features. I'll give you an example - I like immerse myself in the game I play. I am all for realism in games and I like when things make sense. But I also realise that too much realism is not that much fun and certain balance is required. If I want 100% realism - I have this thing called LIFE for that, doesn't get much more realistic than that... So, to me personally the instant ship transfer was not immersive, because I don't buy the "3D print" explanation - if they can 3D print WHOLE SHIPS, why are not all the ships available at each and every station? Why pay someone for transport robotics and machines from one system to another? Can't...

Haven't seen any myself either and I was doing lots of missions to get one. It's good to see they actually are in the live game.

Pretty sure there's some work in progress because 2.3 makes detail on planet approach much, much better for me. That being said the blurring on arrival star is in your face obviously so I hope can be sorted. For the meanwhile I'm putting it down to me / pilot suffering a decelleration G-LOC 'hyperspace sickness' and taking a few seconds to come around? If you want to know what I mean, timestamp 01:45 should demonstrate.

    Don't know about that myself, I like the wave scanner a lot (allegedly bug fixed now? haven't tried it for a while). Also a BIG fan of the SRV's moon-buggy feel. You can get them up to pretty high speed .. and when 82 m/s is 180 mph, maybe no wonder it gets 'twitchy' at, that's F1 speed! Looking forward to more ways to use, seeing different SRV designs and such, but even for mountaineering, base jumping or just Mario Kart donuts, the Physics, of the suspension and such, are 1 million percent awesome and this is still my favourite SRV video;

That is correct. Yes, definitely. And if people are worried about leaders quitting the game, there could be a limited number of officers appointed that would also be able to handle the requests and for example notify Frontier when a leader becomes inactive.

If you had Uranium balls and table (heaviest naturally occuring element) would there be enough microgravity to hold to the table? You might need a rocket assisted cue, to break off though. I assume the jacuzzi would need to be a sealed room with a wet-lock, scuba breather required, but the bubbles would kind of sit there ... Brilliant funny thread in all .. in space no one can hear you karaoke!

Hi fella, you wanted a reminder to share your market data dump on Dropbox

    Thanks again,

  9. Missed your post as I was away from Ed and the forums for a few days. Thanks for your kind words. Good to see that I'm not the only one with 'frustation'. Thanks for your trade routes, I will try them, if/when I have the money for them as they are quite expensive iirc. As I said in the OP or later on I'm using slopey's trade tool atm but even that doesn't get me going. Luckily next week on the 24th PB2 will be released with a 3 systems. I guess the market will flatten quit quickly again after that so I MUST play it directly on that evening.

I will start this evening again if I can manage it. I will keep you informed. Thanks for the offer of flying with me in the future. Would be nice. But for that to happen 'communication' must be in the game first. I think comm. will change ED quit a bit.

    Hi Wolverine,
I just wanted to say thanks for posting your 'frustration' message on the forums. Your comments and the following replies have helped me a lot to stay calm and think clearly. I'm also PB-frustrated as an 80's speccy Elite player :-)
I've been grinding on the Chango-Dahan route, making a relatively safe 343 profit per unit for trading Tantalum from Dahan to Chango and then with Domestic Appliances from Chango to Dahan for 79 unit profit. Not great, but good for docking training!
Please let me know if you have any success gaining monies from the comments in that forum thread or elsewhere. I'd be very happy to fly with you into a scuffle in the future - but need to get a stick and brush up on my dogfighting skills first!
