Not something that isn't seen from time to time, especially after an update. Due to the cloud architecture and multiple servers needing to exchange data, it sometime takes a bit for things to settle down. After a bit, it seems like FD gets the resources needed calibrated to handle the load, which isn't always easy to predict. It should start to smooth out soon.

So, finding your Dolphin was an accident, rather than something you did on Porpoise?

That's the spirit! You really have the whole FD mindset mastered. +1 At this point, an update that didn't screw up at least a half-dozen things that were fixed long ago would indeed be a disappointment.

Yeah! If that was a year ago, that must have been what I was doing too. Remember when they were Mission Rewards? Dang, that's already "back in the day."

Put the star behind you and cruise until you can handle the heat buildup. If the star is at 6 on the scope and you pitch until there is no line above or below the star on the scope, you should be aligned with the escape vector.

Or perhaps you could actually read through the Options settings like the rest of us did... Take your ship out to the middle of nowhere in normal space Here's a big clue on which section to look at to adjust the throttle settings It says - FLIGHT THROTTLE Does that help or did I misunderstand ?

More specifically, both Obama and Congress lobbied and widely sold the bill and wrote it as such in a manner that reassured the public that the Health Care Bill was NOT a tax. Roberts justified sustaining the bill on the grounds that in fact it was a tax. The issue of activist courts overstepping their constitutional role has been an ongoing problem in recent years, So much so, that having been emboldened by their success at legislating from the bench, lower courts recently and unsuccessfully tried to usurp executive authority in the travel ban issue which the Supreme Court has recently nullified for the most part 9 - 0. Returning the Court to it's historic Constitutional role is a critical cornerstone in upholding and defending the US Constitution, which is why it is so important to appoint justices who can actually read and understand a document for what's written on it, rather than deciding they don't like it and it can be ignored.

The Supreme Court's decision on Health Care was not a ruling. In fact, is you followed and/or read Chief Justice Roberts' written explanation of the majority opinion it is more than obvious that in an unprecedented exercise, he had to go out of his way to usurp the role of the legislature to effectively RE-WRITE the legislation to what he thought it should have said, in order to justify passage under the commerce clause, which for the first time in the history of the country mandated that citizens be forced to purchase a product or service not provided by the government. Had the actual legislation as written been ruled upon, it was clear that it was unconstitutional, and had the court actually performed it's Constitutional role, rather than violating the separation of powers, the legislation would have been ruled unconstitutional and would have needed to be re-written. So it goes. That's why it's even more important that Trump put 2 more justices, rather than pseudo legislators, on the Court...

GJ51 replied to a thread Verification code pa4 in Introductions
I use the EDDI interface which uses your ED credentials to use the interface app and the same thing is happening. I put in credentials and then it asks for the verification code sent to email, but I don't get any email. Something's amiss

I never had much hope for it when it was announced and figured it would fall by the wayside just like CQC. At first I was thinking it would use Navigator, Operations, Weapons as crew positions, but alas, that would have made sense. If you had a Navigator that could examine and plot Galaxy and System maps, an Operations Officer who handled all the operations functions - like power balance, deploying cargo hatch, landing gear, scanners, etc. and a Weapons Officer that controlled fire groups, target selection and firing... Well, it could have had a chance - maybe

I've been doing Transport Passenger Missions that pay between 1 - 2 Mil per run that are usually one or two hops in an Anaconda. Not spectacular earnings, but nowhere near as boring as grinding other options.

We really need medium sized ships from Saud Kruger and Gutamaya Their absence there is a glaring omission in the lineup.

I'm having the same issue. Re-entering my credentials results in the request to enter the verification code sent to email, but I don't get the email. Subsequently, I updated to latest beta, then did a re-install. Not working - looks like the ED update killed it, and the update also reset my hud colors back to default even though I had them in the overide definition.

You have to engineer it on a smaller ship to meet the min mass needed, then store/transfer to the Cutter. There's a thread somewhere here. EDIT:

It has to be engineered to hit the minimum mass rating.

I usually keep any FSD that gets a 50% or better. If I want to try for more than that, I would store the 50%+ unit and roll on a new FSD. Of course, YMMV depending on how many ships you have/want. Class 6 FSD is also used on the Corvette and T-9 After being a bit of a ship collector, I now have several Anaconds outfitted differently for specialized functions. Explorer, Passenger missions, All purpose, and another one to act as additional storage and as a shuttle to/from Engineers to do modifications. HTH
