    Is it? What I see on the site matches with what 777Driver says, which in turn sounds about right for what we see in game. If I am wrong about it being wrong, so be it, but it does seem to have pretty good information across the board.

    Hey Chris, Listen without a shadow of a doubt that is sometimes true, and as a community we obviously do not have all the information and Insight to critique some decisions. However, Frontier are humans too they have, do and will continue to screw up sometimes, there is no way on Earth anyone can, with a straight face, thank that every design decision, every update and every quote from Frontier is flawless. As I said in m post, that is true white knighting' and thankfully very rare on these boards.

    When you've been here a while like a lot of us have you feel like you are making the same post over and over again, so here goes...... Back in the early days there were maybe 6 or 7 true 'white knights' on these boards, in their eyes Frontier could do no wrong - ever. It didn't matter if Frontier went back on an idea or promise, it didn't matter if loads of fellow commanders were affected by something and they would come up with any excuse to justify any of the above. As of today there is definitely 1 and at a stretch 2 'white knights' that post with any form of regularity. For them the above is true and every update is 'the best ever', they will justify every decision Frontier makes as the right one and use vast amounts of handwavium to do so where needed. Too many posters are branded as white knights simply for having a different opinion, for not hating everything you hate or dislike about the game. I've been branded a white knight several times on these boards despite voicing my concerns over...

    I was thinking something along the lines of a major theme park. The way I see this is that FD decided a pot needed stirring, and were OK with the idea of someone being hit with the spoon. They say that art imitates life, and unexpected stuff does happen.

    To be fair, a location for a CG was never specified in the OP, so colonia is a valid location. Is it a technicality? Yes. But I play devil's advocate a lot. Never take anything I say too seriously (unless I say that you should, which is rare)

    coriolis.edcd.io allows you to move pips around and see real numbers for any given ship build. Go check that out. It even has graphs! For WEP, you want to look at the the "offense" tab, as it will give you the time to drain the WEP capacitor base on the current pip setting and the weapons equipped. The time to drain at the top bar assumes you have 4 pips to wep.

    1) I don't have time to read every post of a thread. I work with what I have read, which usually amounts to the first post and the most recent page of posts. 2) Did I miss something and we are at a point where there must be a CG in order to bounty hunt? No? Then go find an extraction economy with some RESs and have at it, or any system with a CNB. I have skipped out of a few BH CGs because I had a good BH system. In fact, you might want to check out the Chambo system, last time I was there, plenty of RES. 3) Hey, you wanted a combat CG, and you got not one but two. Ask and ye shall receive. FD is working through a backlog of CG right now, and maybe they just wanted to get these two done with. Bit of a shame that these two are the only ones this week, but they are there. Kinda like asking a genie for "a million bucks" and complaining when you get one million male deer on your lawn. Failure to specify.

    Pips affect each aspect differently, and on a curve, where the affect spikes at four pips, and tails off significantly as you go down in numbers. This has the effect of making four pips the significant setting, causing us to have to move the pips around, rather than establishing a static setting based on a ships attributes and it's build.

    The cargo you carry attracts attention from random pirates. If you have more than one 'Fetch' missions going, each missions can attract attention from factions opposed to the mission giver. These are the risks you face when you run the mission. Missions even say: "Enemy ships may be sent against you" in the description before you take them. I encourage these interdictions to pad the rewards from each mission. You will get a mission bonus, specified as an up-date to the mission, for each attacker you destroy, plus any bounty they may have in that system. This is the reflection of the cutthroat galaxy we play in. You can control the amount of exposure you face, by limiting the number of missions you complete at once. The serial interdictions you faced were likely attackers from any of the missions you are running, not necessarily from the same NPC each time.

    A new mechanic was introduced with 2.4. The "Pilots Federation Bounty". It acts exactly as you say, on top of the local murder bounty. The new bounty is specific to destroying a player's ship. Destroying an NPC will continue to only have the local bounty. In short: Yes, it's working as intended. P.S. Clearing your bounty via a Suicidewinder will not reduce your re-buy. You now have a persistent cost associated with the price of the ship you used in the attack, that is assessed with your destruction.
