I don't think there will be a Norse translation of, "I said Cookiebots, not Boogiebots!"

I was going to post a link to EDTS, which I've never used but I know that a lot (lol) of other BRC cmdrs use, but Cookiehole beat me - nothing new there! ;) If you're playing with the Raikogram in excel anyway though, you can use the solver plugin to solve travelling salesman problems, which is what I normally do. I tend to chuck everything Buckyball related into excel anyway. Just Google for "excel solver travelling salesman". The solver plugin is a part of excel, it's not a third party plugin, you just need to activate it. As most of our races only have four or five stops, and since number of jumps is a smaller number than lightyears, I usually have a go manually first and then check with excel.

Why not have a go at our current race Yggdrasil - link in my signature - instead? By the way, did you voice the awesome Galnet story for my Fat Tony's Festival of Racing event? If so then, I've been meaning to tank you. Consider this an IOU for a pint sometime. Hopefully I'll be at next year's Lavecon. :)

I've not received any further submissions, or had any mistakes pointed out, so the provisional tables are now final standings. The first post has been updated. Thanks to everyone who took part and congratulations to all the winners, I had a great time running the festival, next time I'll go for something with a few less leaderboards though. Special thanks to Alec and Sushi who's random forum comments gave the moments of inspiration that changed the Ironbucky Trophy from a name I'd thought up into the vicious thing it became. Also to the Reddit Elite Miners without whom I wouldn't have found Smeaton Port orbiting that evil little moon. :D The Lonnegan Brothers will be back at Weyl Gateway in the Alacarakmo system very soon hosting The Bootlegger Challenge Rebootlegged, which incorporates an updated version of the Black Riband. Until then it's goodbye from Fat Tony!

I love everything about this race, especially the artwork. And this bit: Can't stop laughing. :D Intent to race, I'll do it properly later when I can think of a battlecry and can get time to play and do a blot. I'll use CMDR Raiko in both events. I've got an un-named Imperial Eagle somewhere that I've never used (got added as a Kickstarter reward when the iEagle was added to the game) for The Squirrel, but what are your thoughts on entering in different ships? I'll be having a go at The Wyrm in The Nomad, but I'd quite like to have a go in an FdL or Python for Viking Raiding Party / Scourge of the North. :)

There's hope for me yet then. :D

Sorry for the slight delay - RL intervened at lunchtime, plus with all these leaderboards the cookiebots have gotten TOTALLY out of control! Fat Tony's Festival of Racing - Provisional Final Standings THE IRONBUCKY TROPHY CMDR Aken B. made a late effort to wrest the Ironbucky Trophy from Cookiehole's hands, but despite a valient effort which improved his times both in both ship and SRV it wasn't quite enough and the open-unlimited Ironbucky Trophy goes to CMDR Cookiehole with his time of 1h14m17s. Meanwhile in the empty Cobra Classic Ironbucky Trophy, CMDR Bruski took "slow and steady" to new heights as he spread his Ironbucky attempt over three days, finishing with a time of 73h43m15s to take the Trophy.

Okay, Fat Tony's Festival of Racing has now come to a close. Hope you all enjoyed the racing. :D The Lonnegan Brothers are just double checking all the submitted runs, provisional final tables will be posted around midday galactic time. The submission forms will remain open for another 24 hours for anyone who began a run before midnight and any adjustments to the final standings will be made once all entries have been received. Sorry it didn't work out, I was looking forward to see how your Ironbucky time compared.

Yes, I'll accept your run as long as you begin before midnight. I've been using GMT as Galactic Mean Time (so yes in game time). Good luck CMDR. o7

I'll definitely do that after the race. I'm a bit overwhelmed with tables at the moment. Even with just 14 of the boards being used lol. :D The SRV section is definitely the biggest single influence on overall standing, and other than Aken's server disconnect is the only reason that runs have failed. The ship racing parts have worked out well though, so as long as a racer is good at fliving the SRV times haven't totally dominated the standings.

Fixed, sorry I'd uploaded the corrected table to imgur, but forgot to update the link.

Fat Tony's Festival of Racing - Current Standings - 00:00 GMT 15-OCT-3303 THE IRONBUCKY TROPHY After clearing out all of the cookiebots from the leaderboards, CMDR Cookiehole has had his previous Ironbucky time corrected and now sits in the lead as we enter the final 24 hours of the festival. Joining Cookiehole and Alec Turner in the Ironbucky podium positions is CMDR Aken B. who finally overcome jinxes with both the Wasat Cup course and galactic instability to record an excellent Ironbucky time of 1h19m09s despite travelling for the final 20km of the Wasat Cup course with The Tumbling Initiative having only 20% hull integrity remaining. As we are now into the final 24 hours of the Ironbucky Trophy, everyone has slot #5 available to make a run. Additionally anyone who hasn't made a run using slot #3 also has that slot still available.
