No, I don't think missions are particularly good, but I also think it doesn't matter, because they are a very minor part of the gameplay. For me, at least.
And they do get better, over time. Slowly but surely. Hang in there. Five years and everything is fine. ;)
I know it's probably becoming quite annoying, but I just wanted to point out that in Elite Dangerous theme, mods have blue names on a blue background... :|
(and the "Reply" button still obscures part of the navigation chain, btw. :P)
I am using fixed beams iFighter. Awesome for stripping shields (if your pilot is above Master and can actually hit things with it), then I come close to finish the job with a shotgun (4 frags). Works like a charm. :)
People spend too much time in Elite.
The sad truth is that it doesn't matter how awesome something is. Eventually people get used to it and then they get bored.
Says more about the people themselves than about the event.
It's the wake scanner that kind of makes them semi-persistent. They never low-wake, if you noticed. But if they high-wake and you scan and follow their trail, you will find them in the next system. There you can either interdict them, or follow their drop point and repeat. :D
(In all seriousness, here, I don't like when people are calling other people by their surname. If I don't know them, I call them by their whole name and if I do know them, I call them by their first name or whatever they want me to call them. But never just surname.
Delayed transfer wasn't introduced because of immershun.
It was introduced because otherwise the ship choice and her loadout WOULDN'T MATTER. You could have all your ships at your disposal all the time. That was the main reason of the time delay.
No, it's not my place to notice to be honest.
Remember you are free to vote with your wallet, but given one of you hating something and ten people behind you who do; it's easy to see why a business decision is made.
