    So glad you've finally found the time and breath to catch up with all the recent Faction implementations. We appreciate your hard work. While I'd hate to rain on the parades of those who are looking to have edits to their Faction status implemented could I politely ask that you attend to Deep Recon X's application post-haste?! You, and others, know full well of our plight, and, until this point, DRX's Command Team has limited the Community Team's exposure to criticism from our wider membership, and indeed from the disapprobation of the ED console community who might view our on-going lack of Minor Faction status as being, well, I'll err for diplomatic, less than optimal. DRX is not demanding any preferential treatment. However, myself, as Wing Commander, and DRX's Command Team, are willing to risk embarassing you into doing what you have done for countless others, including many single-player Minor Factions (and, as you can see from many comments above, these often die soon after being added...

    I suppose you hand these in at the new science and research contact? I gave them a carapace - CG did not register it - then gave them a technological component - CG did not register it, either. Edit: Restarted the game and now it counts 1 ton delivered.

    So, the new gear will be in another beta iteration? I surely hope this will get properly beta-tested and not just surprise-dropped. I am not going to invest time, effort, materials etc. as long as I don't even know whether a few weeks later that very module or weapon I just upgraded gets obsolete anyway.

    we have 10 ships in the game having more optional internals than an AspE - at least 8 of those can reach or exceed a pre-engineers AspE jumprange. not at all useless for exploration, we might even see more diversification of ships, which is a good thing. also gives a new role in group expedition.

    I do understand the architecture of modern windows as I have been using it since it was a DOS shell. However shoving around a few asteroids, ships, a planet or two and maybe some stations shouldn't require more than 2gb of ram. Yes I do see that today's programming platforms are woefully bloated in all respects (compiling code on Turbo C for disabled chucks a exe of 4Kb, the same in gnu or vc gives a larger executive something to do with console interfaces according to microsoft). It is a shame that FDEV couldn't write a Lua language or some similar scripting language to move away from Dev tools to a more contained system of their own choosing. As for the 64bit cpu and OS I have both but the 32bit version runs amazing on my laptop where the 64bit version for all its amazing "drivers and memory access" chugs along at 2-3fps. Yes I know it's a old machine but it ran 32bit fine, yes I will upgrade at some point probably to a PS4 Pro as the pc upgrade cycle is a never ending cash sink.

    If you wanted to try running in a tea-bagged conda or iCutter, then I'd be happy to try and help fill you up. If 2-3 of the supply stations go into boom within Asp-X range of each other, it should be quite easy to fill up quickly. Personally though, as with Drakhyr's BRC: The Long Haul race to Jaques during the initial Colonia CG, I'm just going to try to post a fast time regardless of haulage based scores. :) I'll be hauling 40t and using neutron boosts as practice for an A* challenge run - the heavy load will impact my range and there's no Asp-X unlimited A* times for comparison, but I'd be disappointed if it took 3 hours to reach Dunker's Rest (I did The Long Haul in 6h36 with 50+ tons of cargo in the pre-Neutron era).
