Have never really used any of the tools. I've had a go at the ship builder one but find much in ED obscure and complex, and the markets are REALLY clunky to use

No. I don't either because I don't understand them, there is much in ED that I find FAR too complex. - - - Updated - - - I often write down trade routes on post it notes. Alternatively there are 'walkthroughs'/guides.

Well, it's not to protect from Govt per se, but as an insurance policy for 1st amendment, a US citizen tells me. Are you suggesting that The US army would turn against it's own citizens? That's a chilling thought. Anyway, the gun genie is out of the bottle now, so while criminals can get them illegally, US citizens may as well get them legally to protect trespassers and burglars and other crims who have them illegally!

Didn't see this one on the front page: Lowell Class Science Vessel, WOLF 485A* http://isokix.space/lowell-class-science-vessel/. Please attribute to CMDR Isokix not myself. It's only a few jumps from my current location so will go and take a look myself next time I'm in-game. Note: his website has both WOLF 485A and 385A. 485A is correct.

You really don't want to be using the KB+mouse in VR, it's so much easier using a stick/HOTAS/gamepad a) because you don't have to find it (or the right key) each time and b) because the mouse is designed for a 2D UI not a 3D space. For your stick you need to bind the controls in the galaxy map section of the controls menu. I can't tell from your description if you're getting the same issue as me. And I've not had the major galaxy/system map issues that a lot of players had in 2.3, most of which appear to be fixed, but some players are still having issues...so perhaps your problem is caused by that bug.

Could be a coincidence, I've seen others reporting stuttering in CZs. Try it with just one monitor and see if the issue continues, that will at least help to isolate the cause further.

You've left out the most important piece of information that everyone leaves out in questions related to graphics card and system upgrades - what is the native resolution of your monitor? Also, are you planning to upgrade later to a monitor with a higher resolution? Thinking about VR? If you are playing at 1920x1080 or less either the 1060 or RX 580/480 will cope easily and you'll be able to play at Ultra settings. Actually the same might apply for a 570 - would be great if a current RX 470 owner could chime in. I don't know much about the 1050 but I suspect you'll have to turn a few settings down. You can probably get a 480 at a decent price now that the 580 is out. But I would read reviews and choose wisely with the AMD cards and make sure you get a cool-running one (well, cool by AMD standards anyway, I believe the ASUS Strix runs the coolest). And I say that as a current AMD GPU user. The 1060 will probably run slightly cooler depending on model, it just depends if you want to pay the extra. I...

As should any citizen be fine with their fellow citizen owning a firearm if they wish, given that the law expressly permits it. I'd posit it is reasonable for lessons in handling, firing, cleaning, stripping and secure storage to be compulsory with every first purchase of a gun & licence, and that licence has to be retested by an exam and shooting/handling tests every five years, say. That should go a long way toward reducing accidental deaths and deaths of law-abiding citizens. Everyone has good/evil within them. "We can all be National Socialists" (forum censors the abbreviation), as Jordan Peterson puts it.
