Err.... Scotland does not need the oil. Given the freedom, it could become energy stable with in 10 years. It is building tidal powered generators, that are massive and cutting edge, between islands with some of the strongest tides on the planet. - - - Updated - - - SNP is anti-trident, but the place employs a lot of people and so they have to tread carefully around election time.

So will we annex the trident base, like the russians did the Crimea?

Awesome comparison. Thank you. I always preferred DBX over Asp. It's good to know that she actually isn't that much worse in covering distance. Though that being said, I wouldn't mind a faster scooping to be made an engineer mod.

No - engineering modifications on NPCs are only OUTSIDE of combat zones. From an earlier post of mine: Yes NPCs can have engineered weapons, I had to eat humble pie over this as I raised a ticket and support replied: Deadly and Elite NPCs can have modified equipment outside of combat zones, and modifications on these ships are not limited to passive modules. Elite NPCs will have more modified equipment then Deadly.

Actually Jean Giroud (French cartoonist Moebius) along with with avant-garde filmmaker Alejandro Jodorowsky unsuccessfully sued Besson for stealing ideas for The Third Element from their fantasy comic book series - The Incal.

MalcYorks replied to a thread Ships Clock in Horizons Discussions
I don't wear a watch, I am retired and fart in the general direction of watch and smart-phone equipped wage-slaves. My house clocks are radio-synchronised and times on equipment update automatically, even my central heating timer switches to and from DST with no input on my part. I have one clock on my desk running at UTC for amateur radio and flight sim reference. I would much rather live by the days' actual time, with 12 noon being when the sun is at it's zenith but I can't thanks to the production of Victorian railway timetables. I am used to working in Zulu time from my military career and even in online simulated aviation; I have never found it difficult to add or subtract a number from the little hand and I feel sorry for people who can't manage it.

There can not be any real honesty, or facts and truths. All we have are projections and rumours and of course; propaganda and hope. Only afterwards can we be honest and the true facts be reviled. Just like today with the triggering of article 50. The fact is our glorious ex prime minister Dave only 'promised' a referendum on the UK remaining in the E.U. because he was losing members of his own party to UKIP and he got scared. Now look at the mess the poor of this country have to deal with, plus without the Brexit vote, Scotland would not have a reason to call other independence vote. - - - Updated - - - Technically May has the final word on the matter; well until the Scottish natives get out the blue paint.

Arry replied to a thread Npc Ships in Dangerous Discussion
I saw a thread the other day, about players silent running almost dead ships and waiting to hit speeding players to get them killed by the station. The answers there were. Speeding puts the blame on you, so do so at your own risk. Using that round thing in the centre of the lower half of the HUD helps. It maybe some form of rocket science but it tells you where everything is and with experience you can work out where things are going. Then there is the 'Green side', in or out, sticking to the green side, helps to avoid collisions. I will agree, that NPC ships hitting you when you are travelling at low speeds and then the station tells you to take care, is out of order.

That is the insane thing about chasing a target into a canyon, when it is easier to rise above and follow and target then from above. But as you say, it would ruin the thrill of the chase.

I think this is optimism or just plain wishful thinking. This is elite, where sods law is a part of the programming. 'If it can happen, it will at the worse possible time.' :D

OK, I don't want to bug report this as I am not sure it is one. I have been doing assassination missions for a while now and they come in two forms. Go to said system, scan and get a mission message telling me where in the system the target is, or a message telling me to contact 'X' who maybe in another system. I then contact 'X' and they tell me where to find the target. The 1st kind; scan and get the target location. I fly to the location and then a 'mission USS' pops up, I drop in and the target is there. However; not every time yesterday. I go and find the mission USS and drop in; but all I find is local security ships on patrol and no target. This happened 3 times yesterday, out of about 8 missions. The target is no where to be found. The mission then runs out of time and fails. I have tried leaving the USS and trying to find it again; this can only be done if I leave the system and then return, but the target is not there, only the security ships are still there. I have tried hanging...

The decay is way too fast; especially for most of us part time players. I play about once per week and always find my major reputation at around 70 to 80%, so I spend the whole of my game time repping up again. I understand it is required to change, to rep up those hostile etc, but it should take into consideration, the amount of time played generally. Also, if you make your self hostile with a major faction, that hostile reputation should not go up in just five minutes, it should take some time and only be faster, if you are actively doing things to increase your reputation. Those stating it makes no difference to what the game offers you are wrong and if it made no difference, why should it happen in a negative way, unless you do things to make it happen. One of the main reasons I don't do long distance sight seeing missions, is it would take me days of game play and this would effect my major powers reputation, because I would not be doing anything else. It needs a rethink.

According the the UK government: Teachers, health workers, carers and anyone hoping for the living wage. As too the higher paid professionals; I would say that some are probably worth every penny they earn and that is the point. Some really earn their salaries and most have studied for years to achieve the skills and knowledge they require to do their chosen jobs. However: These truly dedicated professionals are rare as most will just milk it for everything they can get.
