    Technically the game already pays more closer to the core, just not directly. Due to a bigger quantity AND density of G/B/A stars, there's much more terraformables and earth likes to be found and thus more credits to be made. Black holes also seems to be more common, etc.

    I am not disgreeing about the fragile sticky out bits everywhere design being one that doesnt sit right.     Spot on the Ai could stay as it, if we have the game world react to our actions in meaningful ways of consequcnes. Make changing jurisdicitons something that matters are it is sfatey of allies or possibly hositle old enemies. Make systems with Wars going on places you might wish to avoid, but the risk worth it is you seek to profit by running guns or take therisk bring in the humanitarina supplies for the boon that might bring. Famines, civil unrest, busts, outbreaks, all with their risks and oppertunities and a choice to weigh up wether it is worth the risk to reap the reward or to move on and play it safe

    Shouldnt any sci fi ships, be it SC or ED or whatever with the Thrust to mass ratios and specific impluse levels they have be able to enter an atmosphere without needing aero breaking to slow down and thus avoid any shock heating anyway So weapons and shield and such shouldnt be an issue so long as they can survive some atmosphereic resistance, but if there is a risk, come in under power at a sedate 230 ms the whole way down and risk no boucnhing off the atmosphere or burning up in it

    +1 to OP. I'd really like that too. I'm not too fussed with FPS, but the idea of exploring more of these gorgeous locales and stations on foot, and interacting with other players, transporting them, and doing fun stuff, would add so much to my enjoyment of the game. Sadly I don't think we'll be seeing this for a very long time...

    Yeah, I have stuck with Clean drive tuning and Low Emissions Power Plants, rereolled until I get a over boost in Power output. I like the Cooler running and lower signature, but I also like the idea it seems like a more Enviromentally freidnly ship for once we can land where that might matter (from an RP perspective)

    Isnt just about if NPCs are hard or Easy, it is if there is any in game gradiant where choices can be made for risk or reward At the moment there is only a minimal risk, amnd such great rewards, and no differentiate between core words and the frontier, between anarchies and high security. Just as the change so if you jump into a system with a emission cone you can now never arrive in the cone, removing a bulk of the risk, as with the galaxy map and info tab warnings you would never unknwoningly arrive at one, so now is it a risk reawrd choice to use the boosts of any great weight or a new conveiencence with minimal worry of 1% damage to your FSD

    Too easy or just a lack of consequences for choices and the dislike of opportunity costs. People as a whole it seems push for having cake and eating i too, wanting all the options where no option carry a risk and limits choices later. Not that I am saying a hard lock out by any means but more Say trading, to then maximize profit as anything that detracts that is "bad" from game play choices of undersized or no shields, to increase the SC safe disengage distance from 200 km to 1Mm, the drop in distance from 20 kms and far outside the NFZ, to 10 kms or less, to the speed of the landing pads, to not wanting to be interdicted when taking smuggling or delivery missions, to not wanting mission wrinkles, to not wanting Mission ratings to matter in terms of difficulty just scale up the payout, to trading in Anarchies and low security functionally no different, when you can just escape before the security forces will ever turn up anyway.     Had a good evening interdicting Wanted Commanders at the Kpelidoog CG. Blown up three times and one draw where I left with 1% hull - 'tis but a flesh wound... A quick question for my fellow Commanders. What is the PvP etiquette when you see your hull dropping? Is it considered poor taste to low/high wake out of a fight when you're under 10% hull? I could have escaped from any one of my encounters tonight, easily, as I doubt any other commander had a ship as fast as mine in the system, but obviously I didn't want to escape at the price of my honour (and yes, I know I was fighting pirate scum). Any thoughts?

    I love a new broom. When I started in my job I made all this great stuff happen. Six years in and I'm part of the problem. But here's a thing. Elite is a game without consequences. You can be a Rear Admiral and a King at the same time. So having cosmetics that are Faction locked is pointless. Nothing looks more Empire than a gold suit at the helm of a Cutter.

    +1 agree with OP, but in the meantime, there are other ways to fight back against these git-gud hot-shots. I've been having a great time interdicting and getting interdicted by, Wanted players at Community Goals. They zoom in on the kill thinking my sidewinder is easy pickings, then get surprised when I boost away from them at 630 m/s :o One player in a Wanted Cobra high-waked out when they found they couldn't outrun me, and that my fixed cannons were scoring hits on them from 3 and 4 kilometres away. I learned how to do this from Archon Fury, and other players, and I think there is a small, but growing, movement of players who are taking the fight back to the pirates. They're not as tough or as scary as they used to be. I even regularly evade other players in my Type-9 by highwaking out. Then I come back with my tanked up, flying hair-dryer to dish out some payback...
