    NP. My opinion, certainly - as players cannot stop another player choosing to leave the game. I was responding to your comment that Open is the mode where PvP is designed to happen - it is designed to happen in both Multi-Player modes. As to the "does not" - PvP is not, in my opinion, prioritised in this game, indeed, it is completely optional, regardless of game mode.

    Thanks Robert. What you've cited doesn't prove game exit has priority, I'm afraid. I'm only seeing your opinion, which is fine. I don't understand what you mean by saying Both multi-player modes offer the possibility of PvP, not just Open. This alone does not imply that PvP is prioritised. It's the negative aspect, does not, that is throwing me. A difference between PG PvP groups and Open is the lack of control and certainty in open - the thrill, as I see it personally. I'd like to see this maintained and enhanced, especially by addressing the Clogging and exit countdown aspects. A reset timer does take control away from wanting to leave if things get too spicy (or the postman arrives) but that would be the choice of being in open.

    Unless superpowers or powers themselves issue bounties, I can't really see this being a problem unless you want to cover your tracks like some underminers do, or have a small ship. When I used to mega stints of BGS work I'd be wanted in 40 odd systems, and was hostile to Feds and Imps and nothing really happened. I just lived with the continual BH attacks. SHEPR0N> bounty hunters are a good source of money. Its possible to farm them and make a profit as they try to hunt you.

    Its a game although Im not rich so in a way when I make Youtube videos or use Patreon I grind for money. Life is a grind. Haha, Im just joking, its a game. E.D is a game. So commanders keep grinding. Btw I havent played any games for 2.5 month although im planing on taking a plunge into the cockpit soon. I also feel that Frontier aint using the potential of the E.D universe. I want to be surprised when driving around with the SRV and find something unique loot or a pile of credits or even a ship. A mission note maybe? A hint to a treasure. A pirate base. I feel when we get space legs, can interact more with NPCs and we are able to build our own base then this game will shine. But E.D is still our baby and we always come back. And as long as Frontier ads new content and loot/expansions im in all the way. I just need something to pop pop pop again. God dammit let me hire NPC wingmen and see them develop beside me and walk out with me on a planet surface to kill Major Tom and his deadly gang. Then we fly...

    OP, it's because the game is already drowning in the amount of grind in the game. Grind is basically doing the same thing over and over and over again. Since the game lacks depth across the board you do the same thing over and over and over again. There's no avoiding it. FD have also introduced grind after grind into the game. Want to do powerplay? you must grind these tasks (tasks you've probably done hundreds of times already as these tasks aren't unique to PP). Want to Engineer? you must grind these tasks (tasks you've probably done thousands of times already as these tasks aren't unique to Engineers and have already been recycled once with PP). When people say "Grind is all in your mind" etc... they're just trying to excuse the game, just like they do with every complaint. It's not the game's fault it's a massive grind, it's your fault for grinding! As you can see that's a load of cobblers.

    From Sandro's post that I quoted above: From the above: "exiting the game via the menu, at any point, is that it is legitimate." and "we can't speak for how other Commanders view such actions" - therefore a player may leave the game at any time, regardless of whether other players in the instance want them to. Given some players wishing to engage in PvP with another player will not want the other player to leave the game it follows that, by allowing the target to be able to choose to leave the game (subject to a 15 second delay) at any time, PvP (i.e. the wishes of the other player) is not prioritised by Frontier in that scenario. From the proposal of a reset to the exit timer if hit by a player - if the timer was reset then the attacking player would have their gameplay prioritised over the wishes of the departing player.

    Can I ask how you've determined that FD have prioritized leaving the game? Maybe a link I've missed or forgotten? It still begs the question of why have a timer at all. I'm not asserting a prioritization of PvP, don't know what gives you this idea, to be honest. I've consistently mentioned other modes and the fact they exist seems to point that open is the mode where PvP would have a priority, seeing as open is where it's been designed to happen. As it stands at the moment, Clogging is happening with seemingly little consequences for offenders and the graceful exit is too wishy washy to be effective for either party in an encounter. I'm happy that opinions vary. I'm also happy that they can change. :)

    totally agree... imo the "grinding" in ED is just playing the game.... dont like the grinding then you kind of are saying you dont like the majority of the game imo, and are just aiming for that 1 small part of the game you DO like... which is fine and all, but one should not expect to change the game to accommodate that imo.

    A player chooses mode and, regardless, high waking is the best contextual evasion in a player interaction. An instance popping graceful exit has zero depth in game terms. I disagree about the priority of a player wishing to leave the game. Why have a timer if a priority is there? As a said, the 15 sec timer is a half measure. There is nothing scared about it's length nor substance, nor indeed about having it at all. It's here as a stop gap, to my mind, perhaps as FD decide on a more determined course of action.

    Im fairly new to game and was trying to set up a pve group, then found this amazing one that seems to already have all the rules i planned.
    Just a quick question. Would you have any issues with having a sorta group within the mobius group lok. By that i mean, i have 6 other pilots i fly with who i may convince to join up. We are called the synteini privateers, and just hang around synteini area expeeimenting with how we can affect local factions and politics. Our biggest success was briefly pushing synteini industries into top influence in sowiio .
