See 42, 4(a) (4) In this regulation— (a)an “agreed” time or period means a time or period agreed by the trader and the consumer for delivery of the goods An agreed contract between parties removes the 30 days limit. Agreeing to the RSI TOS provides that "contract" acceptance.

Nah, but ninja'ing a mod (posting in a personal capacity I might add), twice within ten minutes is bad for your health.... allegedly... ;)

I give up. If you think you can win with that argument in court - feel free to test it. I run a software company, which provides digital goods, outwith the 30 day period in some cases, and you're quite simply wrong. CIG are many things, but they're not stupid.

You don't get it do you. They do not NEED to provide a date, because in the TOS the consumer accepts that the date is subject to change which under the regulations is perfectly acceptable. I'll even post it again...

From the RSI website: That fulfils the requirement of Part 5, 42 (1). If you want a refund. Get one. If you don't have any skin in the game, why so serious? Also, you need to brush up on UK Consumer law. Or if you're so sure - go test it in court. Small Claims actions are very cheap to raise, and CiG wouldn't turn up to defend them anyway.

Can you comment on Regulation 37 - the text of which I've provided? The full statute is available here: http://www.legislation.gov.uk/uksi/2013/3134/contents/made

Actually - here it is: Consume Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013. Part 3, Regulation 37 37.—(1) Under a contract for the supply of digital content not on a tangible medium, the trader must not begin supply of the digital content before the end of the cancellation period provided for in regulation 30(1), unless— (a)the consumer has given express consent, and (b)the consumer has acknowledged that the right to cancel the contract under regulation 29(1) will be lost. Also Part 5:

That's not true I'm afraid, at least under UK law. The guidance from the Gov.uk is, as quoted from their website: All CIG have to do is include a clause which says it'll be beyond 30 days, and there is no issue. I'm not stupid enough to purchase a JPEG so I can't check what the T&C are, but provided they are clearly stated, there is no issue.

I'm enjoying following this thread and investigating INRA and Thargoid stuff, but I've been away from the game for a few days. Have I missed anything? :)

I think everyone knows who these people are, and I've probably got most of them blocked, you find also find that the elite reddit sub is where you will find the rest of them.

Hi Moadeeb, Tell the story of your expedition, personally I don't see how any of it could be classed as spoilers :) However, I would do is keep the names of any systems that you discovery to yourself until you have a chance to sell your exploration data. There is a very (very very very) small risk of someone flying to the places you name to scan them and sell the data before you do... but you never know.

Yup found it, and sent a few pounds over. Not much, but I feel better for it.
  7. Hi Tristan,

There's a donate button on the "About" page in the BPC. All donations are gratefully received, and are donated to MND Scotland.

Hi Slopey. I love your BPC, although I did feel a bit dirty using it to begin with instead of pens and paper. C'est la vie! Now, though, I'd like to give you a small donation to thank you for your time. I can't find any donate buttons, and thought you might be able to point me in the right direction or send me your PayPal email address. Ta.

Sloapy.. So your Find Elite question at the beginning of launch if it's not detected. Takes a long time. You know that. However.. In an effort to speed it to near instanteous. Why not run a quick If. Elite Dangerous Executeable is Running. What is its file path.. Search there first? This seems like a very easy solution. Also adding things like search same drive sloapys is downloaded to first, or search for words like games, and elite first.. not sure how you are searching.. but most of the time, people have elite running already...

Hello! I've found an erroneous entry in the Ngaliba system; the Nordenskiold Landing station is listed twice. The wrong one has been spelt with an "o" at the end instead of a "d".
    Cheers for a brilliant tool!
