The game by Chema ( check out his space 1999 game ),this version of the game is a wip but even at this early stage
there a couple of new features power redirection and ship id. Have read that the finished game will be out later in the year

You will need an Oric emulator to run the game.

Good grief! The Oric-1 was my first computer, a little 48k French machine made back in 1980 when there were about 40 completely different home machines available. It kicked the of the Spectrum 48k in every way, but as with so many things the technically better machine didn't win. The guy's knocked out a nice version of Elite for the 5 people who know about the Oric-1 and Oric Atmos.

Looks like all 5 of these Oric owner now have there own version of Elite and looking at the vids it looks like a pretty good remake with some additional features added into the game.

This looks like a very interesting game which I'm going to have to set aside some time for.

But what's with that text font though? Is that what the Oric Atmos looked like on screen?
