To whom is this proposal directed at?

    Cool video and thread.

As someone who rp's an imperial pilot through and through though I can't support this in game. Also I don't do power play.

Just because you support the Empire doesn't mean you can't support The Border Coalition during the Games. We're not hostile towards the Empire and we will not make a grab at their territories or systems. We want to become a Power to be better able to protect our territories from the existing Powers.

And again - to support us in the Games all you need to do is join our Community Goals. No Powerplay gameplay required

In fact, Tiberius is from the Empire.

I don't think they're on particularly friendly terms at the moment, after the whole 'one of your senators murdered my father in a legal (only because senators are above the law) violent takeover of his assets despite the fact that he was in the process of paying off his debts, and also probably sicked an armada of mercenaries on us that still occasionally attack us to this day' thing. Tends to sour ones views on the matter, especially considering how Imperial society simultaneously frowns upon and facilitates this kind of thing.

It was one senator, and you are correct that Tiberius wouldnt be that fond of him. But the Empire was still his home. He knows many more people from the empire he likes. Some of the outer colonies are also Imperial.

The Prismatic Imperium stands with the Border Coalition. Support for the Border Coalition has been strong, both within the Senate and the Prismatic Council. The Prismatic Imperium will do what it can to help the Border Coalition be the Power That Rises. The separate groups within the Coalition have longsince been allies to the Imperium. And they took the rallying cry that was Uibuth and joined their voices to ours.

They share our values of a freer, safer galaxy. They're Independents, but Independents who have much in common with Aisling Duval. We've all heard Tiberius's speech to the Truckers and how they intend to shape the Outer Colonies. As we do. A new Power /will/ rise, I'd rather that power was one that was a friend to the Princess Aisling Duval and shared our goal of abolition than one who wasn't.

Raise a toast my friends, to the Border Coalition. The latest addition to Power Play. -- Lord Corwin Ryan

    System: Alpha Centauri
Station: Hutton Orbital (Warning! This is an outpost. No Large landing pads! It also takes about 1.5h to get there from the main star!)
    Date: 29 MAY 3302
Time: 18:00 Universal Galactic Time (game time)
Comms Channel: Hutton Truckers TS: (TBC)

Following a recent speech of Tiberius to the Hutton Truckers, a Hutton Mug Convoy is being sent from Alpha Centauri to Mikunn. It looks like the Truckers took the Duke's words seriously and are organising a transport of Mugs to be delivered to Mikunn in order to be further distributed within the Border Coalition systems. This is a big step forward and surely such a luxurious commodity will be gladly welcomed by many citizens of the border sectors.

If you are willing to help with the haul or want to provide an escort to the Truckers, take your trade ship or a fighter and make your way to Alpha Centauri this Sunday at 18:00 UGT (game time). The communication channel will be on the Hutton Truckers' Team Speak, so feel free to join for a friendly chat during the journey or tune in to Hutton Truckers Radio, especially that it takes about 1.5 hours to get from the main star to Hutton Orbital.

    We're counting on you, Commanders!

Quick question - Tiberius Darvil is described as the interim leader of the Coalition. When and how will the Coalition decide who its leader is going to be on a more permanent (as in, at least having a clear mechanism for being put in or removed from power) spokesperson of the Coalition to the galaxy at large?

    OOC

Over a year ago when we were discussion how it would be possible to work together, CI and MoM talked about this should we ever have the opportunity and desire to become a player power. Whether we could be leaderless, or have a rotating presidency. In the end all of these sorts of discussions are something that can only be had if and when we qualify and have dialogue with FD about what is possible. We (CI) are pretty relaxed about it.

I know barely anything about PP outside of the names, and what they kinda stand for, so what is this exactly?

Frontier giving players a chance to create a custom new 9th faction?

And from what I can tell, this border coalition is basically like the minutemen from fallout 4? (help out settlements in need who in turn join your faction?)

Yes this is frontier giving players who support an in game faction (or in the coalition's case 5) a chance to become a power. Speaking only for CI, we were really uncertain if we actually wanted power status, but the absence of the promised freedom fighter mechanic in the game meant that this is our best shot at keeping our homelands independent. I don't know fallout 4, but yes that describes us, though I'd add if they wish to the end of your sentence.
