Eduardo, your craft assistant tool - 2.3 updated

    Welcome aboard CMDR !

This is the dedicated topic for EDuardo.

    http://eduardo.re

EDuardo is a web based application. It will assist you during your loot & craft activities.

Basically, it's divided into 3 screens: components inventory, engineers's grade, and blueprints list.

On components screen, you have a list of resources that you can collect for crafting things. Log your inventory here. On top right of the screen there is a counter of resources.

With a click on material row, you will display the blueprints associated with it.

In the upper left menu, you have 4 checkboxes to refine display of items.
You can activate a +5 increment by pressing the shift key. On touch screens, switch +1/+5 increment with a 3 fingers tap. The plus button turns red when +5 increment is activated.

At Engineers screen, simply log your grades with them. Nothing particular here.

The Blueprints screen allow you to browse crafting recipes. Clicking each title bar will deploy another bars, i.e. SYNTHESIS->SRV->SRV AMMO RESTOCK will show you the 3 recipes for SRV ammo restock.

If you have enough resources and adequate grade, a CRAFT button is displayed, clicking on it will consume those resources from your inventory.

On Components and Blueprints menu, there is a refresh button.

With this feature, you can have 2 windows (or tabs) at the time. It allows you to refresh the pages without reloading them, preventing lose of your filters and accordion levels.

    The toolbox

The toolbox had an option for exporting your data, allows you portability to another device. Copy and save data anywhere for exporting. Paste previously saved data and click icon for importing. You can also export your inventory in CSV format for convenient use.

You can import a Commanders Log's entry for updating your inventory.

    Copy the JSON

Paste it in the import box and click icon

For your convenience, the Commanders Log's location is displayed below the box.

This looks magnificent. Not at PC but will rep and try asap. Thank you, Cmdr Schimz.

Awesome work there. Loving the temporary portraits too

Edit: If you could add a way of typing numbers in as well, that would be good...I just added 85 Sulphur

Off the top of my head the only other thing that would be really helpful would be a comment next to the materials that currently have no use in engineering. Looks great so far though and appears to be working fine.

That looks really nice, +1 Rep.

Doesn't work under Chrome with AdBlock enabled however, hardly a showstopper though.

One thing that'd really make it killer for me is if it could show me what I can craft with the items I have currently collected.

I'm a loner. I don't compete, and I don't cooperate. I just play my own way. I neither seek out nor avoid others, if you find me I'll say 'Hi', maybe exchange a few words; but I'll soon move on. I don't get involved in any of the politics, I pledge my allegiance to no-one other than myself. My cockpit is my home, not a star, not a planet, and not a station. Off to the Black once again.

Odd, it wasn't working for me, but did when I disabled AdBlock for the site. Now when I re-enable AdBlock it still works.

Computers huh. I swear they'll never catch on.

Just use your browsers zoom ability... Ctrl+Mouse Wheel. Works a treat, 50%-67% seems to be a sweet spot for me.

Wow, this is truly an awesome tool, and graphically really well done to go in the ED universe !
The graphic design / ergonomy is important and this one is really well done on this part.
Not really PC friendly but well, i think it's designed to be used like our right/left ingame panels right ?
Off screen on a mobile ?

I would have a request tho : in the Blueprints section, i kinda expected to see a brief summary of the possible outcomes/effect of said blueprint.
Is it scheduled to be in a future version ? Pretty please ?
It can be via rough summary of expected min/max for the caracteristics or can be textual saying "increase this, at the expense of that"

Really looking forward to see this tool evolve, as it's already in my favorites
    I ping, therefore i am.

This is great. Great work. Needs polishing, but great work

If you used the data from the Engineering Doc, please link back to its thread (in my signature); I'll link your tool there soon.

Keeping a close watch since we have an app in development as well.

Great tool! Been doing an Excel worksheet with pretty much the same functionality. This is better by far! Thank you.

I am not getting the "1 craft ready" displayed though, which will be of immense help. Is that the "coming soon" part?

Thanks for the work! Duly rep'ed!
