    Can you give an example? your post is very vague.

    Are the missions that give out biotech conductor/articulation motors/anomalous bulk scan data/modular terminals give out other materials? Can we find exquisite focus crystals now in missions, are the rest of the 'mission reward' engineer mats making a comeback?

    Are smuggling/hauling missions worth more than jack all now?

    Are there more missions now rather than 0/0 which you get even though you're completely allied with all factions within 1 system and none of them offering any missions at all regardless of state?

    This balance pass does not make sense, who would ever do these missions? I do not find any incentive to do any of them

    Well, I think the passenger missions might have been over done a touch.

    I have just seen two with no financial reward at all, just materials to blow out the cargo hatch. I am looking at 27,600cr to take a criminal 23ly. The best one I see is 6Mcr to take a secretive passenger a total of 48,000ly. Now when I last did a trip of about that length I earned 40M without any passengers and that 6M extra would not have been any compensation for their rather demanding nature or time limit.

    I would think so - I do not have an update on the PC, which suggests that it is a completely server based balance pass.

    First mission I saw today was 102 Credits. But Biotech Conductors as a reward.

    I have the slight feeling that nobody is working on Elite at the moment. 2 weeks for a "fix" like this? What about the other bugs? What about 2.3?

    Blood pressure is raising...

    Why not make Passenger Missions the first Missions type awarding multi-rank XP... trading AND exploration? Make the missions give half of the Rank XP what they give now and apply it to both.

    That doesn't look sexy anymore. I understand some Missions paid surprisingly well for a 90-120mins roundtrip, but that seems a bit of an over-correction :









    Nope, not gonna happen. Not for that payment. The super-longrange ones... *uhm* no way. I'd hardly consider these for 10x that payout.
    I'd rather go mining in a Rocky or Icy belt, even these Missions pay more in relation to their considerably lower time investment. Even Independent Mining in my local Pristine Metallic belt gives me far more bang for the buck.
    (and I'm primarily not really looking at the Credits - I don't really need these - but mainly from a BGS work/effectiveness perspective)

    What still seems okay upto quite good are the ShortRange Bulk PAX Missions, seeing some normal/unchanged ones there.

    The mission system needs more than fixing. Since 2.0 there is basic monotony in mission generation in almost all border systems. It generates either 5-15 charity missions for one of the factions and exactly zero per others, or CZ missions only, or smuggling missions only or… Whatever, I’m pretty sure that FDevs are aware about this. What surprises me most is total absence of relation between the mission difficulty and the reward. You can obtain tier 5 material with a silly courier mission and tier 1 for *kill pirate lord* or 108 targets CZ mission. Where is the logic?

    Sheesh, FD a little hint; I didn't do those long, long missions for 35M cr, I'm not about to start doing them for less.
