Wheres the newsletter? all i see is a load of drivel which has no content or opinion. For instance Distant stars was a complete let down, most commanders felt like it was a total waste of time. Perhaps if we have synopsis and debate within the content of a newsletter i might give it 5 minutes to read. this is NOT a university/college/school brochure. If this was submitted by a student id fail it just for presentation.

What were people expecting, out of interest? As far as I'm aware, nobody hinted that there'd be anything special on the other side. They knew what they were getting into.

"innumerable beautiful sights" maybe. Unless they're sentient as well as beautiful, the fact that they're innumerate is not really meaningful.

One can only hope that the news is that the Beta period is just gonna be shelved and they'll jump right into the 2.3 release day 1. Not like a "Beta period" will impact the introduction of regressions or other related issues into the release anyway. The beta just ends up wasting time.
