Ship Auto corrects Pitch in flight

So my ship has started to auto correct the pitch. I was having some issue with my controls so I reset them the preset for Advanced Controls 1, however doing so now seems to cause my ships pitch to level out. So for example if I am on a planet, the ship will level out so the bottom of my ship is flush with the surface of said planet.

It wasn't doing this before, so I know it's something to do with the preset, however I have not a darn clue what setting disables this. It's not rotational correction (as I know this is for while in stations and even so I did try disabling this and that didn't fix it), so other then that I can't figure it out.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, I did try using Google but it failed me.

    Thank you!

Oh also it's only the pitch that is being corrected, not any other rotation type.

I used this site to help me identify the type of rotation (because I couldn't remember which type it was).

    This is a design "feature".

See this thread (there's more, but this one I have a link to):

There's a live stream somewhere that states FDev did it on purpose. I say we continue to complain in the hopes they fix it!

well... that's not what I expected

Thing is it's not the wobble that bothers me, but my ship auto correcting itself and I can't do anything to change it. It's even worse when you are trying to so a Point of Interest mission for a Planetary Scan and the ship keeps trying to the level with the planets surface so actually scanning the Objective points gets really really frustrating. Because you keep over correcting because your ship is fighting against you and so you can't keep a steady course. It's infuriating.
