The Children of Raxxla made an amazing discovery this week, when they found a new Megaship deep within the Formidine Rift named the Zurara.

The ship was surrounded by several Data-Logs containing voice recordings that allude to some sinister activity going on in the Galaxy which are detailed in this must-watch video from Shabooka. Many believe this ties in with Elite Dangerous' next in-game event.

On April 29, one of the biggest in-game events yet will be taking place in the Elite Dangerous galaxy. Salome's story will be coming to an end, and the community's actions will shape the final moments of Drew Wagar's book - Elite Dangerous: Premonition.

Would you like some more details and back story on next week's event? Check out Obsidian Ant's video that wraps up the history quite nicely.

One of the major players is Raan Corsen. Commander Cobra posted this video to YouTube explaining exactly who he is, and why you should probably pay attention.

Your ships will be more epic than ever before with the all-new Raider Ship Kits.

Adorn your vessel with spikes, chains, and other imposing items to let your foes know you mean business. Available for the Cobra Mk III and Asp Explorer, these kits come with 12 different pieces to customise your ship with, as well as six corroded paint jobs to give your ship the grimy, weathered effect that will make enemies think twice before engaging.

If you're going to fly a raider ship, you need to look the part in and out of the cockpit. These new Raider Flight suits let you do just that.

Available in a variety of intimidating schemes, these Flight suits will show just how fearsome a Commander you are.

Fresh reports indicate that the Alliance is about to expand its presence in the California Nebula by establishing both a scientific outpost and an extraction facility in California Sector JH-V c2-12. Commentators have suggested the development represents an attempt to control the regionís barnacles.

The Colonia Co-operative resource drive has received the wholehearted support of the galactic community. Thousands of tonnes of resources have been delivered to Jaques Station over the past week, which will be used to develop infrastructure throughout Colonia and the surrounding systems.

Both the Empire and the Federation have announced plans to expand their presence in Maia by constructing new outposts. But with a shortage of reliable supply lines into the system, the superpowers have turned to the galactic community for help in compiling the necessary materials.

The Utopia Commune has announced that its campaign for materials has reached a successful conclusion. Hundreds of pilots contributed to the initiative by delivering various commodities to Cenker City, which will be used in a forthcoming research and development programme.

SOMEONE'S into firefly. and the Ravagers. Looks good though.

And the raider suits are still the same ugly basic suits but the colors schemes look a bit better. wish FD wasn't so stuck on "realistic sci fi" and allowed us to wear cool outfits and jackets instead of terrible looking shape hugging body suits...oh well.

also i guess the fight on fat has been won in the future. It would be nice if someday we could have different body frames...
