Yeah what happened to the "The Fuel Rat Mischief got a place" "oh no the numbers are wrong"? I think I missed the final resolution if there was one.

So to folks who follow this thread. I wanted to point out to a website maintained by CMDR Ian Doncaster of Iridium Wing and Colonia Militia Forces fame, that provides BGS info in and around Colonia.

I hadn't expected it not to be shared yet.

    https://cdb.sotl.org.uk/

    it has

    maps: https://cdb.sotl.org.uk/map
Distance tables for all systems to all systems: https://cdb.sotl.org.uk/distances
A historical log of all expansions, retreats and beginnings: https://cdb.sotl.org.uk/history
Faction and system data (Including crime, bounties and traffic info) stretching back. https://cdb.sotl.org.uk/systems/1

As well as a bunch of other helpful stuff.

Apparently it's mostly maintained by CMDR Ian Doncaster, themselves but you can contribute to it by registering on the website and getting involved in the CCN #colonia-bgs channel.
(You'd also be a censor officer, which is kinda cool in and of itself but I have a warped view of what's cool)

The Wings on Inara are the best way to apply to join (bear in mind the Colonia expansion of each faction tends to have a slightly different variant of the wing name):

Only in the thread https://forums.frontier.co.uk/showth...hree-Complete? where it says that "It does leave me with the hard task of telling the Fuel Rats that they are in fact not in Colonia. However, the Sovereignty are." So, no Fuel Rats (presumably even their carried-forward amounts failed to put them in the winners of Phase 4 or Phase 5...).

Thats impossible because over half the people that won this round did it with less than what the rats had. They had 3608 in that thread you linked. Only one group this round has more than that. Just what is going on? Did the fuel rats explicitly say no thank you at some point?

Hmm that is true. These numbers do seem a little light. I thought it was just because it was phase 5 and we need a break.

But it could be something else. It could be that they're not including the tourist guides from the last 4 phases.

Edward, this can't be true right? It is the former situation as opposed to the latter?

Bear in mind that we know the original numbers for that round were massively wrong, because when they recounted them (compare the 1st and 2nd posts in the thread):
    - the Sovereignity gained at least 11k (possibly up to 14k)
    - Likedeeler gained about 8k
    - Rock Research gained about 4k
    - INO Research gained about 3k
    - KoCK lost about 200 but stayed in the top 5 (so some guides were allocated to them incorrectly on the first count)

So that's (at least) 26k of guides gained by the top 5 that were potentially also being counted for the wrong groups - that means the real Fuel Rat score at the end of round 3 could have been anywhere between 0 and 1953.

It definitely can't be that - the top 10 groups in phase 5 have 27245 guides between them, but only 5705 guides in total were delivered in phase 5.

This was also my thought, perhaps we can get a confirmation?

I thought I had read something about the Fuel Rats not actually wanting a station / system in Colonia and nobody was able to figure out exactly who nominated them as a faction in the first place? Could it be that they voluntarily had themselves removed from the standings?

I wonder if anyone can help or maybe the powers that be at frontier are listening to this thread. MY faction (Browncoats) were awarded a place in the april migration yet we have still not recieved any communication from frontier re our new base in Colonia. Does any one know how the process is meant to work after we have been deemed worthy?

Repped. I'm in the same boat as you. I too would appreciate a little guidance on what to expect or who to contact. Have received no correspondence so far.

I understand that FD may be a little busy between the pending PS4 launch, E3 presence, and now 2.3.10 beta... Regardless, I hope to see additional information on the April and May expansion CGs in the near future. Please...
