Watching the latest Bugsmashers, I wonder if CIG have refactored depreciated, or if deprecated collapsed through the ramp and exploded.

They must do them in batches, I've also today received the wall of text informing me that I will miss out on 3.0 and all of it's "new" technologies.

It's very politely worded as it should be, and one of the very few genuinely 'professional' things I've come across out of CIG in the last nearly 6 years. So credit to whoever wrote it.

I can't help but think "what a shame, it shouldn't have ended this way" as I ponder the wording for my 'I'll take my money back now thanks' confirmation reply.

I wonder if this is true? A $45,000 refund is a lot of money if so.... https://amp.reddit.com/r/starcitizen...ackages_for_a/

You'd think that a light blinding the wearer of the helmet would be the bug to remove, not a light that — albeit magically — actually would help the user by illuminating the surroundings.

Also, how does a software engineer manage to be unfamiliar with the word “deprecated”?

Why exactly there is a light inside a helmet? To blind it's wearer?..

    Immersion. Fidelity. Realism.

They can't get targeting to work properly - so it's a lo-fi "shoot me in the face" indicator

The funding tracker doesn't seem to account for this.

Movie helmets have a light inside to illuminate the face of the actor. The light helps the camera to see the actor. It makes no sense in the real world, where the wearer needs to see outside the helmet not the other way around.

It's important that we see the horrific gurning faces being generated by the revolutionary FOIP technology.

We sidelined many other great games and commercial opportunities waiting for Star Citizen, but in the end we can't wait any longer, and a new generation is joining also who have absolutely no interest. The final straw was evidence presented the committee of Chris Roberts blatantly lying, we don't mind the delays but couldn't handle the lies anymore, and it left us wondering what else he is knowingly lying about.

It was a nightmare getting the refund, we are a commercial org and pooled the money to buy the completionist packages, and used a corporate card to buy them, so we had major issues with getting refunded to the same card, paypal and then providing ID. Total it took about 5 weeks to get sorted. A lot of time was spent trying to explain the situation to some woman called "Schala" and just getting the same answers copied and pasted backwards and forwards, they definitely try to delay you as much as possible in the hope you'll forget or give up.

I prefer to remain anonymous as the guild can easily be linked back to my personal identity, and we all know how insane and potentially dangerous the few remaining Star Citizen believers can be. I'll put some juicy screenshots below however.

Thanks for all your help here guys, we couldn't have done it without the support and guidance of this subreddit.

To re-use a Stewart or Colbert joke (I forget which), Star Citizen has 99 problems, and a glitch is all of them.

    Though that's being charitable.
