Thread: Frontier Expo - Tickets Available NOW!

Edited the link in the OP for the eventbrite!
Totally not a Thargoid sympathiser and/or servant. Honest.

Imperial, opulent, and endlessly rubbish with landing pads. :/

One who with the passing of years and accumulation of wealth is still willing to extend credence to FD's undefined Premium Extras not disappointing, in the end. At least, that's the forward-looking definition. Count me in...

I'm just deciding between using the Cutter or the AspX... Oh, wait...

However, I'm also happy that I now have a Founders ticket and am very much looking forward to the event.

I trust there's going to be an Expo17 Cobra skin
'Once OS X has been updated to support OpenGL compute shaders, or other technical options are available to us, we will certainly be very keen on supporting that platform.'

I'm hoping the premium goodie bag includes codes to finally unlock the Mamba, Gecko and Krait!

QUESTION: given that I cannot be 100% sure I'll be free, I wonder: are tickets nominal, or will I be able to give mine to someone else?

You can return them up to 30 days before the event, according to the docs I received. But you can't transfer them by the looks of it (specifically prohibited is resale of tickets - they must be returned to Frontier). Might be worth asking FD though if your intention is to give it to someone else if you can't make it, I'm sure they could say whether they'll allow it or not.

Hmmmm. Seventy pounds, to go to a con.

That's two months internet service. Wonder which is the rational economic choice, ignoring all other expenses?

The contempt with which the game treats it's players is not accidental. It's by design. The game hates you, that's just the way it is."

The tickets do seem a bit pricey.

Meh, £35 is the price of a half decent takeaway for a couple of people.

Pricey...yeah, perhaps so. But only the buyer can tell you if it's worth his money. I'd get more out of life spending £35 on a half decent day out than spending the same not bothering to cook for myself for a night, or on TV streaming subscriptions, etc. etc. etc.
