    Given that Sandro said earlier in this thread that sidewiping is indeed an exploit, and that forum rules forbid posting of cheats/exploits, every time I see someone suggesting it I'm going to highlight that it is an exploit and report the person suggesting cheating and see if the mods will actually stick to the rules.....any help from others doing this would be appreciated!
    I report that sort of thing as well, but it's hard to report that one when Sandro is actively condoning it for non pvp Pilots by actively refusing to apply an existing fix. While I like a lot of the changes, this one leaves a sour taste in my mouth.

    And on the subject of fixing things, Sandro I'd love it if you could get the station NPCs to stop griefing me. I'm sick of trying to dock only to find an npc on my designated pad.

    Which is why the game itself has to do it. The phrase "git gud" needs to die a fiery death, it's part of the problem, not the solution.

    Yup, this is why we need the game to set the "tone" to "dangerous" by having your ship lights go red when you arrive in a system where (the servers know) that multiple player deaths have recently occurred, you might even get a ship message saying "signs of ship destruction litter the area" or something. Constant reminders just might get through to people, perhaps. I would be interested in those stats, for sure.

    You may be right WRT coriolis.. I guess everyone has a slightly different idea about what constitutes "optimal".

    Perhaps the game could supply some of the newer stats coriolis shows, where you can select an enemy ship/loadout and it tells you how long you'd last. It could be as simple as the game grading your defensive capability with a stat.. ranging from "bunny rabbit" to "armadillo" Not sure how to calculate it, but build a clever algorithm in there and give people some honest feedback.

    "Red Alert, Red Alert!" etc

    With the audio overhaul they are implying will make for some cool future stuff I'm hoping that stuff like this would be possible, thinking like some of the audio/plugins that give you system info only native and giving you crucial stuff rather than "system population" you are getting "Be alert commander, 10 other members of the pilots federation have been killed in this sector in the last 24 hours" or "no recent pirate activity detected in this sector"

    Could even work with the "system preview" with a Pilots Fed RAG system giving you a warning on your HUD based on recent commander deaths, so when you line up for that final jump to the CG you see an alert warning that people are dying in droves etc and you can stay even safer Or get ready for some fun!
