Just read Legend and now I'm pushing through the others.
Excellent stuff.
Who read the best seller ? ...
... Sapiens : A Brief History of Humankind
of Yuval Noah Harari.
... and give his opinion ? It seems that many people say that this is an excellent book
I work nights (drawbridge tender), not much to do (it's a high bridge so not many openings - most times none). Lots of time to read. Recently finished The Clash of Eagles Trilogy https://www.penguinrandomhouse.com/s...eagles-trilogy
Also recently finished "Will Save the Galaxy for Food" which is about out-of-work space pilots on the moon, mostly out of work due to quantum tunneling technology. Written by the guy who does "zero punctuation". Would make a really funny movie.

Tourists in the area of a mining / tourist hotel station, out for a 3-hour tour happen to be "away from the space station" while a mysterious ship comes in and blasts the station and local ships to shreds. Making their way to a jump gate four hours flight away, they find the jump gate has also been shredded the same way. And the mysterious ship is coming back .... for them, and this is a tourist ship not designed for battle flight. Buckle up.![]()
