    This includes both ships attacked by pirates and Thagoids.

    Hi Folks,

    Thanks for all the great feedback, We're currently going through it and will use it to help rebalance some aspects of the mageship gameplay.

    From what you have told us we will look into improving the following:

    Balancing the cargo amount and values to make the interactions more worth while
    Adding inbox messages to data and material loot to make sure you guys don't miss what you have just collected
    Add High value or rare items to possible cargo bay items
    Make sure physical materials are spawning as intended from Cargo bay hacks (looks like a bug is stopping this)
    Investigate adding ID or number to cargobay and limpet target to make them more easily distinquishable from each other.
    Investigate Fines and Bounties as they seem out of proportion for crimes commited.
    Investigate if we can make silent running effect how detecable you are when commiting crimes at the megaship.

    Other things that we will investigate to see how possible they are to add in the future to improve these scenarios.

    Investigate if it is possible to put out a Instance wide broadcast from the megahsip when a crime is commited to signal to Bounty hunter players that there is an active pirate in the instance.
    Design Limpet Controller Bay Module to prevent player having to use up too many slots in ship holding limpet controllers.

    Excellent news !

    Three more suggestions :

    1) Would it be possible to make those megaships target for piracy wing missions,
    adding more security ships to deal with and maybe mission cargo to retrieve ?
    Also, it would allow to tweak the rewards without relying on the cargo content too much.

    I mean, as a location for wing mission this is likely one of the best available

    Think of it : 2 players distract security, 3rd goes silent and empties the vaults. Would make for quite good train robery/heist moments.

    2) If you go with the silent running thing, would it be possible to have NPC following predictable patrol paths that one has to avoid to sneak in ?
    (Check one of the first Independance War 2 missions where one sneak in to steal a station reactor fuel assembly, it's really good).

    3) AI relics ? Scientific data ? Thargoid stuff ?

    I agree - it's a real pain having to lose 3 slots for this activity especially in smaller ships.

    What I would love to see is the mega ships actually flying/moving. That would, in my opinion, greatly enhance the immersion. Imagine this scenario:

    - find megaship
    - silent running and approach
    - match speed and do the scan/limpet/other stuff
    - cargo ejects and the megaship continues to fly away whilst you scoop/collect
    - rozzers turn up at some point during the above

    The large mega ships are not stations and should in my opinion have a route they fly through.

    Wow Steve, I know that's a lot of maybes, but it's great to know you're taking our feedback into consideration. If we can stealth them it'll make it more enjoyable to try

    +1 to Megaship wing missions.

    Something like this?


    Class 1 Limpet Controller has one Producer slot, Class 2 has two etc. this would open up the use of multiple limpets to even small ships like the Sidewinder.
