There's a CSV export-feature in EDD. Via Excel those x-per-y stats should be fairly easy to extract. If Excel if not your thing, shoot me a PM and I'll try too help out.

The easiest way is to show only the 'Start Jump' events, then search for the wanted sector e.g. 'DRYOI BLA AA-A H' export this and then sort by the second row.

Maybe there is a way to search the 'information' field in EDD, but I don't know how.

    Thumbs up

    hehe, nice one

@ redfox, i had forgoten that this csv-export feature exist in EDD. great. And the tip with excel. thanks.

so i played a bit with the COUNTIF() function in excel.
i exported all scans from each sector, not only the aa-a h scans. thats what i got:

okay, i did a new export(only aa-a h and filter to "Start Jump"). But i must say that i did not visted all of the aa-a h systems with a blackhole as a primary. so the statistic is not complete. sorry for that. a system with only a black hole shown on GalMap is sometimes a bit boring (when there are no other objects in this system), so i skipped most systems that only shows one black hole at the GalMap. Perhaps i will visit them later.

Absolutely, filtering can be done before or after export, as per individual preference. The history-filter in EDD is quite powerful, but in most cases with anything non-trivial I fail to get it to do what I want - thus my preference for getting the bulk data into the export and doing the filtering/analysis in Excel.

It is powerful but I agree it can be fiddly. Excel has no knowledge of what you're filtering so in some ways it is less powerful but you're essentially working on strings and so it can be easier and faster if the filter you want is amenable to what it can do.

    Finished DRYOI BLA

    117 AA-A H systems, counting from 0 to 116

    The main bodies were:

    Black hole: 71
    Wolf-Rayet O: 15
    Class O: 12
    Blue White Supergiant: 7
    Class B: 5
    Wolf-Rayet WN: 4
    Wolf-Rayet WC: 2
    Wolf-Rayet WNC: 1

    System maps: https://photos.app.goo.gl/agxXiTqxA6JSAps27

Other details (as always) can be found on EDSM and EGO.

The next update will take more time, because I got a alpha key for Rend.

I just noticed that all class A supergiants are handeled as class B stars at the StartJump event, so all your class B stars are a mixup of supergiants and real class B stars.
Therefore the StartJump event is useless in this case.

    I am sorry.

Just a heads-up that I've (finally) updated EDJP. You can bulk import via C&P from a spreadsheet, and do bulk lookups in EDSM - though don't go too crazy with that, or you'll likely hit API limits. It's also OTSP/Hamiltonian now, and there's no limit on number of systems you can enter (though thousands will likely take a while!). You can enter Jump range and estimate sparsity, which might give a slightly more efficient route sometimes - but the default is straight distance.
