    Planning first trip to the core(colonia) Tips and suggestions needed

    My AspX is currently on its way to the station i am at (15 min) so I thought I would take the time to make an account and make this post so that I am armed with as much knowledge on this as possible. I am taking my AspX and i was wondering what sort of build I would need for it to make this trip as risk free as possible as well as maximizing credits from cartography fees. I also need help planning a safe route, and one that ventures into some uncharted space for exploration.

    I use an Anaconda for my exploring as it gives all I need all round and has a great jump range even without the new technology. You need the ship to be as light as possible with A grade FSD a bonus would be the new Guardian FSD Booster, cut everything down as much as possible even Power Plant and you don't really need weapons, also utility wise take some heatsinks these will come in handy if you drop too close to a star. Try https://www.edsm.net/ to set your route as it has a great planner on it I have used it many times.

    5B Fuel scoop (no point paying for an A since Fuel Scoop has no mass).
    4D Shields (lightest mass) to give some protection inside the bubble.
    2 x AFMUs (one to repair the other, again no mass).
    1 x Cargo Rack (optional).
    1 x Advanced Discovery Scanner.
    1 x Detailed Surface Scanner.
    1 x Docking Computer (optional, incase your docking skills get rusty whilst out in the black).
    2 x Heatsinks (just incase you get into trouble and either need to lose heat or 'disappear').
    1 or 2 x Mining Laser (optional).
    No other weps needed, submit to interdiction, 4 pips to engines, 3 x boost and high-wake to next system.

    Quick question... is the debug camera still a thing.... i want to take some nice pics but i cant find the binding for it in my controls, did they change the name again?

    For the camera suite: check the key bindings in the options menu, change them if needed.

    About the route: scroll down to "Colonia Connection Outposts", If you use these stations, you have save points along the route: https://eliteccn.com/colonia-life/colonia-facilities/


    If you move about 100-150 light years above or below the shortest routes between the outposts, you should find plenty of undiscovered systems.
