Man, I wouldn't want to live in those systems...

P Puppis B - black hole (BTW, there are at least 2 systems called P Puppis in the Galaxy and I ticketed it):

The smallest - 0.0000 solar radius (probably it doesn't count as almost every black hole will have it)
The lightest - 3.5391 solar masses

Edit: So many commanders visited this system and there is still a surprize - largest gas giant: Maher Prime in I Bootis at 78,291 km

    Lowest surface temperature - COL 285 SECTOR RN-Y B15-7 6 (not an easy name) at 20 K

Largest terrestrial planet with ammonia-based life - HIP 37224 5 at 18,216 km radius

Will add all new entries and looks like a few new categories when I get a chance later tonight,
Lots of nice finds well done commanders
I found this system which has in its description:

say's Ad Pontes has 12 ice moons but when you check system map it has none:

    going to ticket this one

    Smallest Gas giant wtih ammonia-based life - COL 285 SECTOR GV-D B13-4 1 at 14,982 km

    Edit: Jackson's Lighthouse !!!
Hottest star with surface temperature at 311,807,040 K (yes, over 311mln K)
Neutron star closest to Sol at 174.01Ly
Neutron star closest to human colony at 12.76Ly (Amemait)
Most massive neutron star at 13.4844 solar masses
(I ticketed it because it has population 0 but has government and economy. Perhaps it's not a bug because the system has less violent history - it's explored by design so everybody can see it on the map)

Edit2: I've thought I've found closest to Sol supergiant at only 210.83 Ly (HIP 38965 - F5 I star) but it's too small and too light, so I ticketed it. See for yourself:

Damn what system is that in? ... is that a massive mass-wise neutron star?

It's actually called Jackson's Lighthouse, had to check myself!

Solar radius of 0.000? shouldn't it be a black hole?

Added new entries and categories to OP!
found another system with an interesting description, Tomas
says it has unique trinary planets, doesn't even have binary planets
Give me an idea I should start a new thread for systems with descriptions,
I love reading them as it gives you a bit of lore and background for the game
Oh yeah Tau-3 Eridani has 6 brown dwarfs all with rings

edit: that was a massive update to records, If I missed any get back to me

I am sure there are more distant colonies but for reference: Exphiay 313.9 Ly from Sol (it's explored)
For reference, as well: Canopus - closest to Sol supergiant at 309.15 Ly (colonised and explored, too)

    Edit: and in full glory:

Most Massive Rocky Planet - 17 Earth Masses

Sorry Zephyr not even close ... I'll just leave this here (look at HD148937 8) :

Where did the option for the largest ring system go?

I've found a Gas Giant with a ring system of a maximum diameter of 5,176,774 km... the largest I've come across so far. Planet: CD-51 102 2; Ring: B Ring; System: CD-51 102.

17 Stellar bodies including black hole's and brown dwarfs
Hip 63835 A has a solar mass of 74.8711! one of the invisible black holes is orbiting it almost in contact with its surface
No records this time, just some experience...

I was able to explore 2 out of 3 black holes in your system. The close ones are quite easy: you just have to get to about 0.17 Ls from them but better switch off all non-essential modules because there is significant tendency to overheating increasing with proximity (but in P Puppis my ship was even pulled out of SC by its proximity and survived both directions in and out - take into consideration that it was a very light black hole, though). 3rd one is close to impossible as it's so close to the blue dwarf (it's a dwarf for O-type stars) that my ship was pulled out of SC by the star when I was still 2.04 Ls from the black hole, severely overheated (by the star), being still too far to make it explored and having over 2 weeks of constant flying with max speed for Cobra to get close enough to do it. It could be done because ships are not overheating the way they do in SC and I even left my ship flying toward it for the night catching some sleep (why I risked such a stunt? because I am an explorer ) only to see it at 2.03 Ls from the hole with the game locked. However after I relogged I was at 2.03 Ls so I managed to get closer and could continue but apparently I am not enough of explorer to devote so much time to it (and I would have to repeat such locks because the hole is too fast in its orbital movement to be caught in normal fly). I wonder if I should ticket it.

    I watched some nice flares...

but I went there hoping these 2 close black holes to give some nice performance with gravitational lensing and I wasn't at all disappointed - just the opposite: there are the most beautiful sights I have seen in ED so far. Pictures don't give it justice so I don't have any. I wish I recorded it and now even words fail me: imagine eg. that 2D nightsky suddenly looks like it's 3D and Milky Way, although not distorted seemingly in any way (it could be distorted as well) starts moving against its background as your ship moves - this doesn't sound like much but it was so extraordinary experience I would recommend it to anyone. This system should be a place to go for every commander and it's only 275.46 Ly from Sol! Great, simply great...

Edit: I would apply for a new category: Oldest body - HR 4996 at 12,823 mln years
