    And possibly my favourite screenshots to date: a mountainous landing on the moon of an earth-like world orbiting a binary star system, with a spectacular starscape in the background.

    Out in the Limapa system I came across a Federation ship under repair;

    I got a closer look;

    Just looking back through my screenies folder, this is from April last year. I spent ages driving around this place because it was just so gorgeous, I know if I go back today it will look like a digestive biscuit. I don't land as much as I used to because of it. Beige =/= awesome.

    Edit: In fact I should be going close to there on the way back from Jacques, if I remember I will drop by and have a look.

    Most of these images now share time on my desktop wallpaper roulette.

    I come here and look at the images posted when I can't play the game, when I am away working for weeks at a time.
    It makes me miss the game. There just isn't enough rep to go around to show my appreciation.

    To the CMDRs who post images on this thread, I salute you. Keep the awesomeness coming.

    Hey Lucian, um with the debug cam?
    A nice close nebula always helps especially if you're inside one, this one is the Heart Nebula.

    Smart a... alec...

    I was wondering if they had been any post processing done as there seems to a higher quality to your screenshots (not just resolution), just interested if there was something different with your method.

    Very impressive.

    It's not exactly visually inspired; the word "bland" wouldn't be unfair. But this image of a little ship on an endless dusty plain struck me with an odd sense of desolation.

    Or maybe that's just 2am space madness talking and I'm inadvertently making an entry for "most boring screenshot of 2017"

    Reshade and a little tweakage to make things pop.

    Found this little beauty in the heart of the Heart.

    A forming proto-planet.

    There's something very Chris Foss about that shot, and you're right, it captures the desolation perfectly. The colour of the ship really stands out, I think that's part of the Chris Fossness of the image for me, nicely done!

    (reminds me of something like this)

    I was wondering whether reshade was used, something about the colour quality wasn't the same is vanilla. I tend to do a little tweaking on the curves for a bit of pop too. Out of interest, what res are you capturing at?
