Post Mapping the planetary cities and outposts + SRV races tool.

    Hi all,

In the same way as I did with the outposts configurations in this thread , I'm starting to map the planetary cities and outposts.

Here you can find the PDF version, made by Alec Turner https://drive.google.com/file/d/0Bz3...FOa1RrNlE/view

I think that this could used also as a tool for SRV races:

    Just wow. +Repped.

I think you are handy these kind of stuff. Could you do the same for ships? I want to have Corvette's and Python's image. Maybe in some point of future i can print it with 3D printer

  4. #4
Many thanks Shunulu ! For the ships, I will do that when I will have more time. Anyway, I'm not used to do printable models today.

I posted before for ship toys to FD but they are now more interesting with simple stuffs. I can understand that but i really want to have my Python's and Corvette's toys. I searched internet (i can't figure out logic of REDDIT and most pics are in there) but ED is not Star Wars of course

I dunno even if i have pics then i can print out by the way.

To make a long story short; Please FD do something. Or teach us how to fishing a fish...

Many guys hope to have this kinds of models.. I think that we'll have to do that by our own. I'll keep you advise if I start anything.

  7. #7
wow thank you. It'll be really appreciated!

Great work Ian! (rep tank is empty...)

For your question above, the pads should be numbered clockwise, so the large pads should be in order with pad 9 at the end nearest pad 8, and pad 12 at the ened nearest pad 1.

For all the planetary outposts, it would be really great if you could please add some arrows showing which way round they are. I think in all cases the approach is from ouitside the base - but for planetary outpost 1, that means that pads 1 and 2 are the other way round from pads 3 and 4, for example.

    Thanks Drakhyr!!

Pads numbered clockwise sounds logic!! didn't thought abour that, thank you!

I think in all cases the approach is from ouitside the base
In most cases yes, but sometimes no. For example , on outpost #3, pads 9 and 10, the approach is from what I consider as the "inside" (and inversed with pads 11 and 12, which is not really logic)

it would be really great if you could please add some arrows showing which way round they are
Sure, done that for for the orbiting outposts, but not here (actually I represent way by the "defectors" on the pads, but you're right, arrows will be more understandable)
So I'll update the images with these arrows.

You were right Drakhyr, I could check that. Thanks.

So first post updated with Outpost #4. Also added arrows as requested on this one, will do that on first ones later.

Spotted a new configuration, so #5 is incoming
