Couple of things that would make these guys more intresting in my opinion would be:
1) Ability to walk around
This would make these creatures 100% more intresting and believable then they are right now, especially Pterosaurs and the Quetz.
2) Taller aviary domes
It always feels like the...
I have just started Elite Odyssey. I have done the training started the online mode. I am in a station where you have to complete missions buy getting taxis!? Do you not have your own ship? I thought everyone started with a sidewinder?
I know this has been discussed and I am glad planet zoo is still being worked on, I really hope they add the two most needed and missing DLC soon as this is the most important parts of the zoo the we need to create.
Hey everyone!
Why is it so hard to make flying animals in 3D simulation games?
Can't they move/fly like all the other animals in game?
Can someone please tell me why they can't make it that easy? :)
I have seen multiple threads on reddit, here, and steam (both older and more recent) talking about how some players would like to turn the "stardust" off (I know there's a mod for that), and other threads talking about ways to increase the visibility of it (mostly for FA Off) and even other ways...
I would like the Hammer-headed Bat in the Game. They look cute and interesting. Also they don't live in very large Groups. They live in Groups with a Size of 4-5 but sometimes there can be 25 Bat's in a Group.

When I played Jurassic park operation genesis, zoo tycoon 2, and roller coaster tycoon 3, I had ambient birds flying over my parks. I loved those tiny guys as it adds life to my parks besides the animals and guests I placed, like there is a world beyond my park.
Could we get flying ambient...
This is my first post here. I literally registered 2 minutes ago just to say these suggestions (one coming in a second post.)
Right. So. I'm not sure if this has been said before, if it has, forgive me. My idea is to have an airborne dinosaur category, with the included buildings and areas. Hear...
Hello Jurassic Park enthusiasts, Jurassic World, and dinosaur fans in general, I write in hopes of soliciting Frontier's friends, to complete the gaming experience, with the addition of two DLCs: one on flying reptiles and the other on marine reptiles.
Obviously I realize that it is not easy...
The kills were kinda easy. The AI doesn't seem to respond at all if they can't see you, even if you're pounding them with .50 cal rounds.
The landing was not easy. Believing is seeing.

Hi,
I haven't played Elite for about 2 years, not since I crashed my ship on the return journey after several months of exploration, then got griefed in my T6, and my X52 joystick broke and the customer support basically didn't want to know... (it was a bad day) ... so, traumatised, I put down...
I have to say that the absolute biggest offender in this game is the flight mechanics; they are so severely broken and boring. I love simulation but above all a video game should be fun.. that is the first principle of why people play them and can escape in video game worlds. Otherwise, people...
So, we already have the 1st two candidates which appeared in the 1st movie: Dimorphodon and Pteranodon, but... which other "exotic" or unique flying creatures you think would be a great addition to the game?
CURRENT WISHLIST:
Pteranodon (this one appeared in almost every Jurassic movie)...
Greetings all. I am going to keep this polite and constructive, and as brief as is possible in order to make my point. So bear with me:
I came to Elite to fly spaceships. Fly spaceships. Not outfit them. Not customize them. Not paint them. Not use them to generate screen shots. To FLY them...
I'm pretty sure this may be age old and lots say it's an issue. But it surely has to stop now.
It's a game mechanic that means system NPC's do some sort of "cool" flyby as you leave a station but because the mechanic is not thought out well all they do is fly in to you. Is the thought that...
