I just want to offer some positivity to the devs. Thank you for listening to the community and addressing issues. In before I get jumped with "well what about this and what about that." Sometimes changing just a few things is a necessity to make sure they work before moving on. Sometimes your issue doesn't effect everyone else the same way. Its all a balance of what is most pertinent, what affects the most players, and what can we accomplish in our limited time.
Overall you can tell FDevs are listening. They could be like BF4 and ignore complaints until a big youtuber completely smokes them or even worse like DayZ whose solution for everything is to add more hats (god this makes me so angry)
So thank you guys for getting us some patch work while preparing for Horizons and 1.5. At the office till 9pm that's dedication I applaud you.

Not really as it means you are not likely to spend more down the line (new seasons etc) whereas if they kept you happy then you might. Further more you are less likely to recommend ED to your friends so they lose that revenue stream too.
In the world of online reviews and especially YouTube, they cannot afford to be risking a wave of negativity starting up.
No problem, they just haven't finished.

Is that accurate? I just spam the launcher -> options -> check for game updates.
Regarding discussion about keeping old players, you always want to keep as much as possible, since active player base attracts new players. No one wants to play an online game without any players, even the solo mode in ED would be pretty dull.
As it over ran, only brought the XB1 game a day ago.. Played maybes 2 hours. Logged on today and can't because of maintenance.. Not amused.
No offence but you sound a bit cheesed off with the players commenting on the time it takes for an update to go live, I play ED, and also enjoy Frontier Elite 2
more as it does everything apart from multiplayer that ED should do.
